Great interview and you cannot question the courage and genuine aspiration to be great. Legacy is clearly a priority for him and the Heavyweight Division should learn a thing or two. He has come up short against a genuine legend....and a future one and is one of the most beautiful technicians to watch in the ring I have ever seen. His hand speed is exceptional and I just feel that with the bigger, stronger chinned guys he will have a problem. I don't think it is actually stamina, but that his opponents don't feel the dents in the early rounds and he slows down faster. Either way I am a huge fan of this warrior and lets appreciate those fighters who fight, rather than hide from the best.

Caleb is amazing to watch box, First off I dont notice anyone that "BOXES" better...and the epitome of having to work and sacrifice for every single little bit of winning and progression and gain a person can be granted as far as Nothing given at all...no happenstance of Lucky wind falls that you see the universe grant to even the Hardest workers once they get some momentum...He hasn't been given anything he literally had to scrap sweat and bleed and lose loved ones and fights to opponents he's actually more skilled than. Never doubt yourself Plant your just as good as anyone, your better actually from a pure skill and ability standpoint...the reason Canelo and Benavidez are such juggernauts is because they are brute fighters and once they pull you into engaging into their brutal back and forths then thats when they win. Caleb needs to force them to fight his style.. and show them what precision, speed, slick combos and slipping defense is, cause Caleb will beat anyone at those aspects all day, so he needs to stick to balancing those specific things in the 2nd half of the fights... a few tweaks in his long game and adjusting to his opponents aggressions through out the fight and sticking to his strong points and Slick athleticism an not engaging and standing still with bigger stronger punchers... instead fluster the shit out of them...
i feel like if he would just combo and move combo and move and not even worry about tying up unless its absolutely necessary, because his feet are what he needs to rely on more, he's a thinker so he needs to out smart his dumber opponents and he'll beat anyone at 168 because if he can outsmart them outside the ring he can apply that to inside the ring on God!

I do not consider Plant a world class fighter. He has already been beaten to a pulp by two of the best .
WHo else had to fight Canelo and Benavidez in 3 fights? both fighters have suspect conditioning methods. Hence the Zero fatigue in the second half of all their fights. Heredia is a known magician of hiding usage of banned substances and suddenly a new improved David Via New edition to the coaching team with new improved formulas.
lets be clear when the substance gains weren't showing through in the Second halfs of both fights, Plant was out classing both of them clean as can be... boxing and physically clean. which proves hes a better boxer than both of them. but you cant win a FIGHT against an "enhanced" power punching fighter for 12 rounds.

Caleb needs to do some serious work on his cardio / conditioning. He has a serious issue with running very low on gas during the second half of his fights. Joe Rogan just said the same exact thing I said on his podcast.
I think alot of it is hes a clean fighter most fighters that walk through punches and have equal to more power and energy in the secod half of the fights are usually from PED gains from before training camp The Ranosos and Herredia are Pretty much known PED scientists.
