Automated Transplanting Saving Labor, Increasing Yields

A Central Coast company continues to test a lettuce transplanting machine. The system, called Plant Tape, has been researched and developed for over a decade. Plant Tape President Scott Grabau says they have planted over 8,000 acres of lettuce with the machine, which has saved them on labor and increased yields. Although the company is still researching the process, groups are already looking further into the system to see if it can work for different crops.

Thanks too much but I have a little trouble of how to redesign (make) this type of automated machine as a 100% homemade without sending any spare parts: just using technology transfert through the internet.
