C-Am-F-G is called a turnaround; it's used extensively it 50s and 60s rock--only the "standard" progression (12 bar blues progression) was used more.
“Chord progression”… a turn around is a chord or series of chords that takes the music back to a place. Quite often it’s a V or V7 chord at the end of a verse or chorus.
Please do more of these, i find it great practice following along as you switch from one song to another - changing strumming patterns and chord progressions with each song.
Love this video. I've only been playing for a month and I got stuck in the trap of following on-screen tab without actually learning the note names. Within 5 min, this video nailed home the names of these 4 chords, I can now identify a C G F and Am !! PROGRESS! .. Phase 2 , find a vid that helps with strumming, because that still sucks!
The ukelele chords seem quite easy to play compared to acoustic guitar. You're tutorial shows this really well. What most os can't do is sing like you. Your voice is just beautiful along with your interpretation. The ukelele just becomes a prop to showcase your voice. Wow, man.
Ricky, that’s brilliant, thank you so much! I was just looking for simple songs today and here you are :)
Perfeito como sempre. Obrigada por dividir conosco.
Wow that was so easy to follow! Thank you!
been trying to play guitar for over 3 years..but i cant take a guitar on my motorcycle. i can only take/pack a soprano Ukulele for for my trips away..thanks for this vid upload..really enjoed it , new sub for you my friend😊
Concert/alto uke sounds like a 3/4 guitar imo. Safe travels.
@@RabbitBwaBBit cheers m8..i will buy one and give it a go 😄👍

Making it easy for the older kids.... Like me! Thank you!!!!
Love this, only thing for me the timing is a bit out with the sound and picture so as a beginner I found it hard to strum along while watching as it didn’t line up 🙈 but your voice and skills are both amazing
Wow very informative tutorial step by step thank you😊
Great Leson & Talent. Thanks! 🥰
Hey bro love your content seriously, keeping being you and doing you man 🤘✨☝️
Here's another decent one: Under the Influence by Chris Brown. This song can use Am C F G in that order; the intro is technically Cadd9 and Fmaj7 and then the outro replaces the C with Em, but otherwise the song sticks to the same progression.

Hey Ricky ! I jusy stsrted lesrninf the Uke and i nist say i lesrn so much . Thank you
This is the first video I go to , to study uke chords. Am a guitar player so gets kinda confusing 😂. Way easier fingering but have to brainwash the chords a bit
3:22
That was awesome! I only started playing today following one of the apps but this helped so much just with learning the 4 chords, with only randomly strumming but trying to get the 4 chords in time really works 😁
That was sick, thanks boss
How do you exactly do the strumming like if I do the same strumming patrern, I hear like the same thing over and over again. But when you are going down ,you do something with you finger that like stops the strumming. How do you do it pleaseee?
