Seit ich "Liquid Skies" mitte 90er zum ersten Mal auf einer Party hörte, beim DJ mich erkundigte - weil ich es einfach wissen musste, von wem dieser Track ist - seit damals hat Kai Tracid den God-Tier Rang in meinem Technohimmel, der Kai Tracid Sound hittet auf direktem Weg mein seelisches Fühl für Techno. Auch die Themen der Tracks ("Contemplate the Reason you exist", "Too many Times", "Trance&Acid", um Schlaglichter zu nennen) holten und holen mich auch 2024 noch ab. Ich habe deine Alben hoch und runter gehört damals realtalk, durch dich bin ich selber auf die Produktionsschiene geraten, damals noch mit einem Atari ST und Notator/Creator als Gehirn meines Midi Setups. Dieses Hobby begleitet mich bis heute, ich liebe Techno und du trägst die Schuld daran. Ich will dir hiermit meinen Dank aussprechen, mit ganzer Seelenkraft! Ich danke dir Kai

"Trance & Acid" ist übrigens eines meiner Allzeit-Favoriten, wobei ich den bei der Veröffentlichung wahrscheinlich als Kind von 8 Jahren schrecklich gefunden hätte. Der Geschmack für solche Musik kam erst richtig mit der Jugend; als Kind wars eher HandsUp. Aber für solche Klassiker-Funde gab's ja dann später zum Glück CZcams. :-)

Macht der Thilo auch mal mit.. Wir wollen doch auf die Fresse 2.0 oder ab ins Säurebad hehe. Super Klasse! Hab das Plugin gleich geupdatet für 29€. Heutzutage selber die alten Tracks auf Ableton nach zu bauen so ganz privat macht total Spaß. Danke Kai Tracid das du auch auf YT bist. Es ist eben wie es ist, wenn man Techno Fan ist und um die 45 Jahre alt, dann die TTX Vinyls gesuchtet hat in den 2000ern, man will es eben wie es damals klang. GENAUSO. Es lässt einen nie mehr los.
Hört sich ja echt gut an. Da hat D16 gute Arbeit geleistet. Scheint tatsächlich auch eine Überarbeitung der Soundengine gegeben zu haben. Aber das Interface gefällt mir auch.

Super, wie einem die 303 nach 30 Jahren noch ein Lächeln ins Gesicht zaubert :-)...und das als Software...D16 hat wieder mal richtig einen rausgehauen...
Hatte mir vor kurzem die erste Phoscycon Version zugelegt und bei dieser feststellen müssen, dass im A/B Vergleich die AudioRealism Bassline hörbar authentischer klang. Nach dem was man hier jedoch hören konnte hat D16 da deutlich Verbesserungen erreicht. Das Upgrade werde ich mir auf jeden Fall gönnen. :)
Habs auch schon im Plugin Ordner :) V2 ist besser als erwartet geworden, vor allem im Gegensatz zur V1. Hab beide direkt verglichen. V2 klingt deutlich besser. Besonders gefällt mir auch die Modifikation die neue Klänge im 303 Gewand ertönen läßt. Sehr geil!

I don't understand the difference between Slide and the held note in time mode. I often see track patterns from the roland tb-303 with normal notes and held notes. So there must be a difference between a slide and a held note, otherwise I would only use the slide and no held notes. But the D16 Phoscyon 2 has no held notes. If I would like to use a roland track pattern with the D16 I don't know what I should do if there is a held note in the pattern.

Wie kann man diesen 303 Sound eigentlich einordnen? Ist das etwas eigenes oder spricht man dann davon, dass das der Bass ist? Beim Aufbau von einem Song hört man immer wieder, dass man eine Kick benötigt, einen Bass, weitere Drum Elemente, ein Lead, Harmony usw. Wo reiht sich da der 303 Acid Sound ein? Benötige ich da zB dann noch einen Bass, wenn ich 303 einsätze?
Kann man mit dem Phoscyon auch eine Pattern Chain machen? Ich bekomme es nicht hin. Das einzige was bei mir funktioniert ist der Wechsel über das Anklicken des nächsten Patterns, aber dann muss ich ständig die Patterns anklicken. Geht das aber auch so, dass ich Pattern A -> B -> C -> D definiere und dann auf Start drücke und dann wird das Pattern in dieser Reihenfolge abgespielt ohne dass ich ständig die Patternreihenfolge drücken muss? Irgendwie finde ich im Netz keine Infos dazu, wie das geht.
die letzte Sequenz klingt doch ganz nach K-Waveshaper :) nen Rework/Remake wäre geil :)) war damals einer meiner Lieblingstracks von dir nach dem Andora -Blade Runner Tracid Remix ;)

There is no reason (at all) to rework the demo from the plugin to the 'real thing' It sounds great and is better then the TB303 in many ways without any compromise.

After ABL3 it is the best emulation of Roland on the market. I'm already using it for my new track. Great tip from the master of Trance & Acid :))
Had fun with ABL3. But Physcion 2 just topped it. So much more enjoyable to play with!

Arbeite nur mit dem internen Sequencer. Aber versuche es mal über velocity.
