Thanks. Worked a treat for my Nissan Leaf. Regarding the stuck key comment below, my fob the key part clips off in the same way on top and bottom, so for stuck keys, this might help.

do you need to reprogram it after changing the battery to sync with the car or is it ok to just change the battery. I know some cars need to be programmed to a new key fob.

Be careful if you remove the back, you may lose the small spring that holds the switch in place, do this on a clear surface. Mine flew away
