Segun Sowunmi gives great interviews - he usually holds the attention of viewers. But I'm rather disappointed in that statement "if everyone wants to be tribal then I'll be tribal too". He shouldn't allow himself to descend so low. At his height he should be able to rise above the bad behaviour of a few loud mouth Obidients; after all many of them are also from the Southwest, Southsouth and Middle belt. And agree or not, the Southeast has been extensively treated unfairly. They have a right to be upset for a while. Right after the elections, every part of the South advised the Southeast to remain calm and allow the rest of the South to fight on their behalf - and they have remained calm. But those people who said stay calm are gradually crawling over to Asorock for whatever they can get even as the economy is fast collapsing. Segun's frustration is understood. We all are frustrated. But it's not an excuse.
I considered him presidential material. Right now I'm not sure. Especially if he's gets nudged into the APC 🤔

Segun Showunmi telling Tinubu that going to France is bad optics for ECOWAS. He also made him understand that Cardoso and Edun won't fix Nigeria economy because Lagos isn't and will never be Nigeria. Lagos is the smallest state in Nigeria forget the stealing going on there... It's a state that has been allowed to lord itself over its peers because the country's leaders refused to grant equal economic opportunities to other states. On Buhari, I agree that there's too much money outside the financial system and he was right to try to fix that but I disagreed with Showunmi that Buhari was any good. He was a disaster as President though Tinubu may turn out worse.

We understand your pain, Segun. But if you want to slide over to APC and become a BAT adviser to advance your political career, please slide over. Because forget all the stories, it sounds a bit like that's what you really want to do. And if it is, it's no big deal. After all, Bwala did it and has said he doesn't owe anyone an explanation - even though we see how TVC treats him now that the more enlightened stations don't give him serious airtime. But please, it's rather insensitive to be praise singing Buhari and Tinubu and in the same breath calling Peter Obi tribal. That one will be hard to swallow. That Seun spent time forcing words into your mouth does not pass for an excuse.

@@abushnuff I am a foreigner from China. In this age of infotech, you want me to name 600 companies. So you cannot even google or check Franco Nigeria Chamber of Commerce and Industry. For your info, the French company Canal+ is in discussion since last week to buy the South African Multichoice.
