Rowan... Siobhan. As the one player who plays an immigrant, as the one player who is an immigrant, that Brennan gives her this choice, and has her out of all of them read "New Colossus" is a true ode to the American Dream: that this country is meant as shelter for those seeking asylum.
What's interesting is that in both seasons Sioban plays the only immigrant. Rowen immigrated a long time ago but she is still an immigrant. Her characters are actually people who came to New York (America). They probably believe in the dream most of all.

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t she herself an immigrant to the US? That might play in to why she chose to do that.

Yeah, that tracks... representation is strong on D20: Ally always plays queer characters, Lou always plays black characters, and Zack is becoming more and more comfortable with playing asian characters... having diversity on your players helps to have diversity on your games.

I'm in literal tears. The "I Know You" part where we cycle through all the forms Rowan has taken, and in all those forms she loved The American Dream. This was so, so good. And I'm so happy CZcams recommended it to me.

The small “goof” where Pete’s eyes look back up to where the dream is supposed to be is *Chef’s Kiss* perfection.
I made sure he was the only one who moved, since he had the power to hear all the offers as the Vox Fantasma!

The little sob/laugh that Brennan gives after Siobhan calls the American Dream 'my love' just absolutely gives me life.
Every time I rewatch this scene and hear Siobhan's "My love" I break a lil bit each time

I've watched this animatic several times now, and I only just noticed that Pete was watching at 0:31. Nice attention to detail.

The face that you gave the American Dream is perfect. This is very well "shot," the angles and cuts are great. Only criticism: Kingston needs a goatee IMO.

I mean he’s basically supposed to be exactly what hitler had in mind ya know: blond hair, blues eyes and “perfect” so I guess he’s hot the way Patrick Bateman is hot

Without a doubt - my favorite moment of the entire season. It's incredibly hard to show a trickster's sincere moment without it being cheap or out of character, and Siobhan did it like no one else.
I'm sad that most of them didn't try to convince them that they didn't have to do this. Siobhan was the only one. But it makes sense in character I guess. She follows her dreams always, and recognizing that this is not everyone's dreams, that they had the chance to be so much more than just one persons and trying to convince them they are already in everyones minds, everyone has dreams and they were them.
this made me cry.... your rowan is GORGEOUS
oh to say a speech so moving the dm immediately halves the big bosses hit points and almost certainly saves most of your party
Man I was already balling from what Murph did( which I knew he was going to do), and them Emily came in with that beautiful speech. I really loved this campaign.

This is so beautifully done! I've been saving this video until I reached that part of Unsleeping City so it wouldn't be a spoiler, and the wait was worth it. Rowan's expressions are particularly lovely
