- I decided to redo this boss fight once again but without using quicksilver. The reason why I didn't went for quicksilver is because during my previous vergil 2 no damage kill. I used this style a lot and in the end, I wasn't satisfied by it, mainly because of how it trivialise the devil trigger and the summoned swords which both plays an important part of the fight. Once you figure out Vergil's attack pattern, this boss fight is really just a matter of patience.

See, I try and do this. But then he pulls some BS by coming out from a corner using Beowulf in his DT and proceeds to drain my HP.
@@Star_Mans_Legacy Vergil's attacks will absolutely crater your health bar on higher difficulties. For this fight, I recommend using the Sword Master style, or, if you're confident with it, Royal Guard. Make sure your styles are fully leveled up, as well as your weapons, and you have all of Dante's moves unlocked. As for a weapons load out, it's really a matter of personal preference. I prefer Cerberus (speed) and Beowulf (double jump), as well as Ebony and Ivory. The shot gun is nice, but I don't really rely on guns in this fight, as Vergil will block most of your shots anyway, and the other guns take too long to fire, even if they do more damage. As for the attack you mentioned (I think it's called "Falling Star"), ALWAYS KEEP VERGIL ON CAMERA! This will make it easier to see his moves, and you can set up a counter attack. Either roll out of the way of this move, or, backflip away from it, and use Ebony and Ivory in order to stay in the air longer. If Vergil starts to wind up for another Falling Star while you're still in the air, use Beowulf to jump again, and get out of range. You can jump much higher than Vergil can. However, if you're confident, you can use Royal Guard to block this attack too. Good luck! I hope this helped you.
just dodge and attack, dodge and attack. don't rush in blind like a fool. when he goes dt, just keep dodging. in dt he has super armor. in most if not all video games, fighting enemies with super armor is like playing with fire; you might get burned

It would be amazing if someone made a 10 minute long battle where both of them battle with an epic music in a cinematic style, we'd have a great movie to watch

Why is the player using Devil Trigger on the last hit? Use it for the entire combo for maximum damage.

I know this is a old comment but if you hold the devil trigger until all the orbs flash red it does big damage when you release it around enemy/s

How dis you make the game load ao good? I heard is such a bad port for pc
I played it on emulator and changed a bunch of settings that's the reason why it looks pretty nice. However, when I made this video, the graphics and the audio weren't that great compared to my current setup i'm using so far.

There's a port made by Ubisoft and is pretty much unplayable at certain degree. Probably you should be playing this version without know. I highly recommend you stick with the hd remaster, besides you get to play dmc3 special edition too.

I really wanted Capcom to remake DMC 1, 2, 3 and 4 in RE Engine to give them an updated mechanic, combos and new areas but sadly Capcom is babysitting Resident Evil and Monster Hunter so bad.

Dante gets balrog in dmc5 game/novel. His gauntlet weapon in 1 was ifrit, 3 - beowolf, 4 - gilgamesh
