Modesty: Islam teaches both men and women to dress modestly and to lower their gaze in the presence of the opposite gender: "Tell the believing men to lower their gaze and guard their private parts. Prohibition of adultery: Islam prohibits sexual relationships outside of marriage, and considers it a major sin: "And do not come near to unlawful sexual intercourse. Indeed, it is a shameful act and an evil way." (Quran 17:32)
