Celtic left it until the second half to open the scoring with an own goal from Livingston. Later Bernardo's low-driven shot from the edge of the box made it 2, and finally O'Riley slotted home the last which was a well-worked team effort.
The Hoops travel to Ibrox next Sunday in a huge top of the table clash.

Considering hatate has been out for months he was excellent especially on that pitch

I loved how his teammates immediately deferred to him and kept giving him control of the ball. Outside of Calmac we don't have anyone who's brave enough to run the show.

I would keep Iwata, has real strength. I thought he was superb. Calmac may need to be on bench.
My apologies to Nicholas Khun and Yang. They’re both looking good. The competition between them should make them both even better 👍
I think some apologies are due to the Board, Manager and recruitment staff as well. Some of the abuse directed at the club in recent weeks by some fans was way over the top and certainly didn't help a team going for a title.🙄

At the end of the day we've given up a 9 point lead and it's down to poor recruitment. That's not to say these players won't amount to something but we didn't need projects we needed starters & we had the finances to do it, we had better finances than we've ever had. It's completely unforgivable.
Michael Nicholson takes 700k a year out of this club, Lawell has taken something like 17m out of the club and that's after 20 years of abject humiliation in Europe he presided over.

Kuhn now looks much more than a 'project' he was our best player, imv. Hatate looks much fitter, think he maybe has lost weight? Kyogo looks like his old self again and has to play at Ibrokes. Never really been an O'Riley fan. I'd play Hatate, Bernardo and CalMac in the midfield against the other mob with Iwata as sub.
Probably agree but i can't see oriley getting dropped next week. Bernardo does offer something different. My concern nxt week is scales. Not my cuppa tea

No idea what the ref or VAR was watching. Stonewall penalty all day. The Livi player kicks Kyogo's ankle and his knee also goes into the back of Kyogo's leg. Agreed. The Rangers midfield is going to try to dominate. Celts need someone good in the defensive midfield role to let Calmac play a bit more forward. O'Reilly just doesn't hack it in games where Celtic need some hard tackles to go in.

O'Reilly reminds me of Rogic. Great left foot but wants too much time on the ball. Next week needs a different type of midfield. I'd also go with Iwata, Hatate & McGregor (if he's fit)

Good second half from the Celts 🍀didn’t create enough in the first. We need more quality in the final ball, can’t be so wasteful next week. Kuhn was decent, a touch too many at times but good game from him.

We were comfortable in the first half, a quicker game in 2nd half. Looking a good bit better going to ibroke next Sunday. I can see it being a draw, so a lot of games are must win,tick them off one by one.

I know it wont happen, but I would like to see CCV keep the captains armband. He is the best player in Scotland by a country mile, and also a true leader, maybe this would take some pressure off Calmac and allow him to flourish.

Iwata is just flawless, the guy gets barely any plaudits, but he has been superb in the holding roll, and if he gets dropped next week, i will be fuming. O'Riley to miss out for me. Khun was excellent again. Denied another penalty AGAIN.
