Bahía Solano is a municipality and town in the Chocó Department, Colombia. Bahia, as it is locally known, is an economic and tourist center of coastal Choco. Bahia is home to an airport as well as seaport, and along with daily flights to and from Medellin, Quibdo, Cali, and Bogota, there are bi-weekly ships that take passengers and cargo from Bahia to the port of Buenaventura.
The region around Bahia Solano is home to scuba diving and sport fishing opportunities, providing a plethora of marine activities to the traveller. 18 km away from Bahia Solano, is the beach town of El Valle, Choco, which is the closest community to Ensenada de Utria National Park, located only 9 kilometres (5.6 mi) down the beach.
The Hill B&B is a small family oriented eco touristic destination designed and built by Jupi & Monica Da Silva. They believe and practice eco-community tourism, therefore local guides, boatmans, drives and local restaurants can benefit from your stay. Travelers can really feel at home away from their own. With stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and Choco Jungle all englobed in one epic setting on Almejal Beach.
You will feel the most relaxing experience there just because is far away from pretty much everything a modern place may offer. Although, you may enjoy Wi-Fi or Cell data signal, the sense of isolation makes you get away from everything. You should walk out on Almejal Beach and enjoy a magic sunset while the whales are crossing in front of your eyes. No need of a motorboat ride, in case you be afraid of sea waves or boats, that should be a more than enough experience, feeling how big and immense the nature is.
