I do hope that is so it really goes for all races. There are so many times when this is just for show and nothing else, as the actual service to some persons, are far from the truth

Staff wearing jewellery hooped earrings, rings and their own clothing under scrubs would never be allowed in British hospitals. Don’t they have infection control measures in the US ? How can staff wash their hands properly wearing long sleeve tops down to their wrists? Really odd from a British perspective. It also looks very unprofessional.

Since she is not a surgical nurse she isn't required to scrub her hands past her wrist.. I've had many surgeries in the US and never hand an infection due to the ones that are performing the surgery do the total scrub down. And her wearing a shirt under her scrubs is not unprofessional.. You do realize in these areas of the hospitals it is kept kinda cold for bacteria reduction purposes..

Many facilities, including where I worked, have policies in place that state no long sleeve shirts under the scrub top. No bare arms, you have to wear a scrub jacket. Scrubs are laundered in house, too. We had policies for jewelry as well. Masks are to be on in an open room, no matter the surgery. We take infection control very seriously in the US. I didn't check to see how old this video was.
