I've known Daniel since he was 12/13 years old, he was a great footballer and always a kind, respectful person. It's no surprise he spends alot of his time helping others. All the best to him 🙌🏾👊🏾
It comes across in the interview. I think some people that have had to go through a lot. Know how hard it is and tend to be more giving in their attitude towards others. It's a shame he didn't have more support growing up as he would clearly have been a professional footballer.
One of my favorite on this channel. No embellishments no bragging no ostentatious obvious one upping. Just a guy with an honest story and a good message.

Went secondary school with Daniel. Lived 1 minute from him for many years in Peckham. No one has a bad word to say about him. Wish I was still in touch. He was a top top top quality person.

Another excellent interview. You have a knack of finding intelligent people who know how to tell their story in an entertaining manner. This is the first video I've watched with your female co presenter . She's a great addition to your show. Like yourself smart and asks the right questions. She's letting the guest tell their story.
Humility is valuable in the interviewer role. Your guest sounds like he would have been a professional footballer if he had the support and stable home life growing up. He's like your other guests an intelligent man who was dealt an unfortunate card. Life is a lottery at birth. So glad he's turning it all around and using his experience for positive, productive means. Thanks to yourself, co presenter and guest for a quality few hours of conversation. I really like this guy. He reminds me alot of Shane Taylor. Mental health is no joke. He is so right about checking up on people cz most people aren't fine just cz they say they are. I really relate to his saying about not being a breakdown and more of a breakthrough. God bless mate I wish you all the best
True words typed my man. Mental health is a big river in Africa. I didn't find out until years after that I had a nervous breakdown when in my early twenties. Have you heard of Blind boy boat club from the Irish comedy music outfit, the Rubber Bandits. He gives a spot on talk about how the powers that be. Don't want to equip us at school to deal with mental illness. The advertising companies and many other corporations wouldn't be able to make a profit from us. Check him out on CZcams.

@@jambutty2218 I will definitely check it out. I'm recovering from a breakdown/breakthrough. Started in my early twenties too, Im 33 now and still fighting it everyday. Any help, advice or words of wisdom from someone who has been through it is what I search out for these days so thank you for the recommendation.

Shaun I have watched your channel for a time now you give people the chance to talk and tell there story. I would appreciate the chance for me as a dad and my daughter what the impact on my daughter be bullied and how its brushed aside for 3 years the authorities haven’t got a clue. I know there’s lots of bad things going on in this world.What ever happens to people no body should suffer in silence.
Have you seeked out support groups. There might be something on Facebook. I'm a brain injury survivor. I find talking to others who have had the same experience helps . There might be a charity out there that can help. Or maybe you could get funding and start one. You can't be the only person who feels this way. We should work as the family that we are. We are much stronger and life easier if we work together. Good luck David. Hope your daughter and your situation gets better.

It's an interesting interview but I wouldn't say that someone with raving psychosis in a mental hospital was just "misunderstood" they're a lot more than just misunderstood!!
Yeah it's a serious illness. Less is known about the brain than any other organ. It's good we are starting to try to understand and help mental illness. From what friends have told me the prisons are full of people that should be in mental health services.
