Woman getting kicked by horse, Jukin Media Verified (Original)

- Note the white horse with dark patch on his face in stall on left is agitated. She lets big white horse out at 7:48:11, he leaves barn and goes into pasture. She lets dark colored horse out at 7:48:30 but she turns the wrong way and goes further into the barn. White horse comes back in and they both go to far end of barn. Dark horse turns around away from white horse and goes into full gallop followed by white horse. White horse deliberately looks at woman, takes aim, and delivers an accurate side kick at about 7:48:44. Although the kick made contact, the woman was not hurt.
By the way, that's not a whip, it's a Savvy stick; quite different than a whip. It's basically a stick with a string on the end used as a body language prop.
i love how she just carries on like nothing has happened

That woman is made of pure steel.
I got kicked by a horse on my uncle's ranch well over fifty years ago, and I'll never forget it. My brother and cousin were standing by it and petting it, and I came running up from behind it and surprised it. The kick grazed my chest, otherwise I doubt I'd be here today, but it was enough to knock the wind out of me and put a bruise on me that didn't completely fade for a couple of weeks. The experience didn't instill a fear of horses in me, but for a long time after that I never approached one from behind, even if I knew it knew I was there.
What part of your body is "My uncle's ranch"?

1:52 kicking part ..
Yes I think she definitely should have put a halter and lead on the horse and done let him out to the pasture manually, however, I do like the fact that she didn't get abusive with the horse for aiming and kicking at her. Most people (whether you'd like to admit it or not) would get a whip and beat the horse for kicking at them. It just makes me happy knowing that people like her can handle a situation like that maturely, and just carry on with what their supposed to be doing.
My friend has a barn with 6 saddlebreds. I've never seen her just open a stall and let a horse run out on it's own. She always leads them where they need to go.
I love that she stayed so calm. So many people lash out at animals if they get hurt by one.
She would have died if it was a kick to the head. A girl in my city died that way
I’m so sorry for that poor girls family.
well It's wild animals idk why the horse felt the need to kick her but it seems like she doesn't know what she's doing.
Looks like wont in this chaos shop....
I just ran across this video and read some of the comments and have to make my own comment.
My family has run a barn for a very long time with at times over 80 horses at a time. We let our horses out in a similar manner as this.
The problem with this person is she did not have control of the situation when letting out the 2nd horse she was on the wrong side of the door when she opened it. By being on that side of the door that horse came out and turned away from her which got the attention of the white horse to come back in the barn then she was in he mix and totally out of control.
This just shows how inexperienced she is with horses. Sad to see and glad she was ok.
You cant deny she took that pretty well, made of nails!

She took that kick like a champ. Good handlers keep their cool when something goes wrong, a bad handler will freak out and blame the horse.

that horse knew exactly where it was kicking. he wasn't just being frisky and stretching it's legs.
Not all the time. The horse kicked out of excitement, and did not acknowledge her presence

madd ness I totally agree. I watched the video a second time in slow motion and it was very deliberate. To watch a video in slow motion, go to the settings icon on the lower right of the video, click on "speed" and then change it to the lowest speed. It's creepy to see how that horse WANTED to hit her.

Mega MindyLou
Mega MindyLou that's what happens when you're locked up in a stall all day then you're set free.
Carol Sheppard no it's not lol. That is unacceptable behavior. I can give my horse two days of no turnout and still expect him to behave. That's either a young horse or an untrained one.
For everyone commenting about the woman getting what she deserved let me say this. You work around horses you will get kicked. You will also get bitten and pawed.
Horses are amazing animals but also can be really unpredictable at times.
Unpredictable? Lol! This horse was showing signs way before she took him out and started smacking him and throwing her whip around.
That wasn't a whip and she didn't smack him.
So true that b*tch desefird it i love horses and i hate this abuse if poeple dont agree then skrew you!! Horses are not toys!!!!!!!
I think the horse is very predictable. The cat got the clue when the cat took off out of there. The lady didn't get that clue. Horses always give a clue. Like if you see ears back, high head you know something is up. If you study heard behavior you would know that the horse is VERY predictable.
힉. your so stupid horses have been longer THAN dogs have over 6 million years ago
1:52 : "heh! nice try, twinkle toes. my ex-husband hit harder than that!"
Wtf
It did hurt. You can see her shifting her arm. The fact is, horses will be horses and you can't beat them for it.
Mine, when I got through riding, took her out to the pasture and went to remove the halter, I had to prep first and get ready to jump back and aside. Cause she was gonna buck. Just a happy horse off her halter who's gonna run loose in the pasture. Soon as the halter came off, she bolted forward kicking and bucking before galloping off. Sometimes I felt her hoove graze my face.
I've had many kick me, been trampled, bitten. But I've never beaten a horse.
Props to the woman for not getting pissed and beating the horses.

The poor horses are clearly very hungry and upset that no kindness is being shown. The kick looked like an act of frustration, not an attack.
The horse was just excited about eating yet she ignored it. She deserved that light kick.
Yeah, the horses needed to be calmly led out. The horse that kicked her was pacing back and forth in his stall impatiently as she moved around beforehand, and she let them run a bit too wild after letting them out. One way horses play is by bucking and kicking up their heels. She was in the wrong place at the wrong time, but she should have known better, and had the horses calm and quiet as she LED them out. She needs to be the herd leader and act like it if she's going to get the respect she needs as the smaller, much frailer person.
Some horses you may could turn out like that, but that coo coo horse, no. At the least he should have been turned out last so she could have shut the door
horses are huge, powerful, fast, mercurial, skittish, flighty beasts. In other words, they're inherently dangerous. I don't care how good you are, if you work with them long enough you WILL get hurt by one. It comes with the territory.
I agree with you that you have an high chance to get hurt by a horse. The thing is how it happend. There is nothing like a dangerous horse - normally it is a mistake from the human (trained the horse wrongly, act incorrect). But in this video it is nobodys fault. The Horse were not agressiv, just playful and had to much energie in it. If you look at the horses movement from the beginning of the clip until the kick you see that it was pretty nervous all the time. Sadly the woman stand in a bad place, but it is not her or the horses fault. The horse just showed normal behavior.
That horse had ADHD
Very true.
Not really, she exposed herself to the danger, if she had done her job properly instead of acting lazy, she wouldn't have been kicked. Plus I feel like the horse kicked her because she uses a long stick (or whatever it's called in English).
Edit: Dressage whip.
A girl in my city died from a kick to the head. She was just a teenager
You knew which one was going to do it from the start. Lucky to have survived and yet just carried on. I've seen a horse turn 2x4 lumber into toothpicks. Amazing power.
Anybody who sets up a camera in their horse stall doesn't trust her stable hands
No better teacher of how to properly handle a horse, than the horse himself. Hopefully this was lesson learned. If you take foolish risks and short cuts when it comes to being around these large, powerful animals, you are asking to be seriously hurt. She was lucky this time!
The kick is at 1:51 for those who don't want to watch the hole video
her only fault was not turning out safely. the horse that did the kicking was an accident waiting to happen as illustrated by his behavior in the stall prior to being let out. hope she wasn't seriously injured.
description says she wasn't hurt so i take that to mean it wasn't a serious injury but i can guarantee you that hurt. for all of you with no horse experience....please be quiet.... and yes, that horse purposely kicked her. obviously needs training (both her and the horse)!
The other horses r like damn we want out too lol
She took that kick like a BOSS.!!! I know it wasn't a headshot , but the force of that kick is still stronger then a man hauling off and punching her as hard as he can in her chest. I say .... one tough horse lady.!!
Horses do have the ability of how much muscle they put in a kick . That was like a bratty sibling seeing what they can get away with .
They can definitely kick hard!
That horse was agitated during the entire video. He did NOT want to be in that stall.
He wanted that hay
She was actually too nice and trusting to that excited animal. Tough gal!!
What do you mean too nice? If you were to try and dominate them, you’d get a solid kick to the head, that horse did not mean to hurt anyone, that is how horses play
Well how many times does she get kicked for her just to walk away
horses should be led away from the barn, and then not allowed to return. some of the biggest accidents I have seen are about feeding time and stalls, horses running into the wrong stalls is a mess too. I say lead in and lead out, one at a time - doing this I have never been in that situation, and won't be.
Amen to that! Thank you Tammy for your common sense.
I agree, lead them out. I think that the horses seem to be a bit high strung. I think they may need to be out more?
I think you're right on with the "more out time",,, my horses are fed and out by 7am and unless its horrible weather, do not come in until 7 pm,,, plus riding and grooming,, manners, and other quality time. its a full day - but those isles belong to me - that's my space,,, not theirs.
I worked on a multi-million dollar horse ranch and no horse was ever allowed to walk any where without being led. The danger it posed to the horses and other workers is astronomical. I would have been fired immediately without question.
yup - sounds like professional horsemanship,, good manners and safety
My family owns a boarding stable. We let our horses out the same way she does but they pretty much never come back in. One stray horse may come in to wait for a buddy but they are always on their best behavior. We hardly ever have problems. The horses we have at our barn now are very well behaved. Maybe the horse was young or hadn't been outside for a while. It may also just be bad manners. Frankly it was not the person's fault. The whip was not used to hurt them, just to guide them out.
The lack of warmth and love from the lady probably has an effect on the horses manners. They know bad apples. Treat the animals better and they'll respect you. She didn't care for them, it's just a chore to her. They know.
Horse intentionally kick me like that and youd find me setting up the grill.

Clearly, you didnt see the stick she was holding. It looked as though the horse was scared and was defending it's self. Likely the horse as been hit with the stick or by that girl before and was scared. Also. You clearly don't know a lot about horses because if you did you would know that they dont do anything for no reason and that it is NEVER the horses fault.
Remi Rich Tell is all about your horse experience, because all of us here can clearly see you’re full of shit.
Remi Rich a horse could’ve been abused, but they shouldn’t be treated any differently than another horse when they are helped to get their mindset off of the abuse. That whip was probably just a guide for them to get out of the barn. That horse was clearly being disrespectful to that woman, and I know if that happened to me, I’d be round penning that horse like no tomorrow. Horses are powerful and they need to respect humans

Rashid Gill haha ... great! .. good observance!!!
This lady put two hay packages outside the barn first. She wanted two horses to eat these hay outside the barn. Am I right?
The first horse freed and went outside, but tried to come back in because the horse thought there are more hays inside the barn with a plenty of friends (horses) inside. The lady led the horse to go out again. Then, she let the second horse to go out but this one came to the wrong direction which, as a result, invited the first horse to join. The first horse came back in again. (Horse are herd animal. Quite natural attitude.)
I see nothing wrong with the lady here except that she was careless with the distance that she should have kept between her and any horse.
There is no evidence of mistreat except for some reckless attitude.
I do not use a halter and lead rope with my horses. Going out from the barn or coming back to the barn is their routine. I just call them "House" and they come back to the barn house.
I am just careful not going to close to the horse because they play and kick at any time.

and that is why we use halters and handle horses properly
Yupers
makes sense dosent it?
Thank you, same thing I was thinking.
Yupp. This girl was an idiot and the horses finally showed her that
that is so true
She was kicked in the shoulder, and that would be painful enough. She should be grateful it wasn't her face otherwise she'd be either dead, or seriously disfigured. I've been riding for only 2.5 years and I have a great respect for these animals. No matter how good or bad a lesson either, treat them well and you should develop a good working rapport.
I was kicked in the face by a horse i didn't die or get disfigured i had a large hoof mark on my face for months and i still have a lump inside my mouth but that's it.
But you haven't been kicked yet or stepped on Iv been kicked dead center of my chest by a Percheron and lived to tell the tale yea it took the wind out of me but unless this horse stomped her head I don't think from where she was a kick to the head would have been a headache not death
The lesson: Never underestimate a horse’s behinds. 😆😆😆
1:52 Damn she barely even reacted..she told that horse "You shouldve aimed for the head"
He did
Didn't seem to faze her. What a trooper!
Yeah but it was square in the face. His hoof was coming at her so fast, she couldn't register she was going to kick her before it was too late. She should have at least been knocked out.
*****
I've been kicked, you don't realize it until it's over. That was a cowkick, sideways with one hoof. She just got the tail end of it, that's why she wasn't hurt. If you're around horses you get kicked sometimes, they can move move pretty quick.
Thats true. While horses are known for their grace and beauty, they are also known for their speed and strength.
She got kicked in the front of her shoulder not her face. If it was the face she would have been ko'd, possibly killed.
gone fishin
I know, it still must have hurt tho. .
The horse is obviously young and/or spirited. He was getting very worked up over food before she let him out and then once he was let out he was very anxious. This accident was due to pure laziness or comfort in a routine. Horses should be haltered and lead out to pasture not set free and guided with a training stick.
That being said we all have our lazy days and this person found out the hard way its better to be safe than sorry. Glad she was not seriously hurt and I hope this did not continue to happen.
They were just doing their job, the woman did nothing to the horses, but you obviously can’t see that.
We gotta start these videos a little closer to the action. With that said, she took that kick like a "G"
Took the shot and kept on working, horsemen. #respect
Through the video , even at the start , that horse looked at her with an aim, the horse was nervous and was forming his intention . I would say that an experienced person would have known that that horse was intending to do something, and the fact that she carried what looked a stick in her hand, who knows what message was read by the horse, who knows about his past experience of some one with something that looked like a stick/whip?
Uh I have horses too and the do the same thing like that horse. Yk that means that they are excited to get outside and eat grass 🤔😉
And she walks around after death it self grazed her inches away wow what a heavy duty lady puts to shame some "men"
You could see that as soon as the white horse turned around and had her in his sight he was already setting up for the kick.
Quite fairly deserved.
If you cannot treat your horses properly. By leaving stalls unlocked, or un-trained horses in loose stalls. Like we see the grey at the end, over excited.
If you can’t train a horse ground manners, then don’t bother getting one.
Clearly, this person has not had any experience with animals. Especially horses, let it get loose, etc. no halter trained whatsoever.
Teach your horse ground manners, and maybe you wouldn’t have experienced that.
Especially for the fact, you let them run loose, that is horrible.
I have never seen horses allowed to run ruckus like that in stall area, just asking for trouble.

No, the horse was not crazy. Stop blaming the horse.
Sonseere...that horse was very high strung...and it is a big horse...I'm not blaming the horse, it it how it is.
Franmom------your words: 'that horse was crazy though'. That is blaming the horse. It is not the horse. It is the person that handles the horse the most and the totality of circumstances that are man caused.
Sonseere, you are thinking about my comment to deeply......let it go.
In a sense, yes. Evidently very, very unhappy about being unable to get out. Did you not see how many ways the horse was trying to escape, even trying at one point to climb over the loose-box gate (not enough space for a running jump, or it would have done). I don't know that horse's history, but I would say that, yes, it was suffering from one of the many known "stable vices" - effectively mental illness, some of which can be fatal to the horse, such as bashing its own head against the ceiling until it fractures its skull - which are CAUSED by confinement of an essentially wild and free-roaming animal for long periods against its will.
The stable-hand was lucky to escape with as little damage as that. The horse evidently wanted strongly to escape, and regarded her as the reason for its confinement. Some horses are just not suited to stable life, and that should be respected. Why did the stable-hand not notice the horse's hugely obvious distress...?!
Oh, and I speak from years of horse ownership and intensive stableyard work, so please, nobody start with the "you don't know what you're talking about" comments, thanks.
Horses are powerful animals and can kill you IF MISHANDLED. If they really ARE "wrong 'uns", as we say, meaning individuals which simply cannot be fully domesticated, well: they have to be humanely put down at a far earlier age than this evidently fully adult and mature animal - for THEIR sake, since they will only be abused if any attempt is made to sell them into the riding industry.
What is she made of - Granite? Looks like it didn't hurt one bit.
Because People aren't made of literal paper despite what movies would have you think and not everyone dies instantly or needs to go to the ICU after a horse kick. I do find it unusual that she sustained no injuries but it's not really otherworldly
LOL. That's happened to me. When it did it was TIL: when a horse is excited, stand back and keep clear. My Clydesdale mare (may she RIP) kicked me in the shoulder once this way simply because she saw something in the distance and it excited her while standing at the gate next to me. She whirled around and kicked and POW. Nailed me.
😱
Poor lady. I know that hurt so bad. People be compassionate. Be kind
That hose was like
“next time bring me my f**king hay”
I had a mare like this. She'd spin and try to double barrel me every time I turned her out. I spent years and many dollars with trainers with ground work and trying to get respect. Some horse attitudes WON'T change. I finally gave up on the mare after 9 years of fighting and sent her on down the road. This horse needs to go if he has proper ground training/respect training and still acts like this. I've seen a man die from being kicked in the chest. there ARE safe horses out there needing homes.
+S Madden the woman made many mistakes before the horses made theirs. she let not one, but two clearly excited/agitated horses charge out of stalls. She grabbed a whip which in that situation made it worse. its never the horses fault.
this horse is not one you just turn out loose from his stall, hes fired up and clearly not minding his manners. With all the hazards in the barn isle, I am surprised this didnt turn into a giant disaster. When she let loose the second horse and suddenly they are loose in the aisleway - - very lucky it was only a kick and not a horse fight.
Def! He was very anxious and it was clear...shoulda got him out there n closed that gate first... Lazy?
Agreed. He was pacing/weaving in his stall clearly worked up. There is no way I would just let that horse loose from his stall like that.
Wow. I do not comment because I do not know about horses
The horse has the right to have those manners. The obviously dont like her for whatever reason.
Leading a horse out is the most sensible thing to do, especially for a pacing horse. The horse probably got too excited as it had been let free and kicked her to distract her to escape.
Omg that horse has impeccable aim
How was she agitating the horse? I've had many of horses that are in a stall that aren't getting hay (due to diets, already having been fed ect.) Yeah they get a little impatient, but that doesn't mean they can kick out at you. This might have been a new horse to the stable you never know the circumstances. Also note that the women had put hay outside, possibly for the both of the "loose" horses. She was doing her job, things got a little nasty by mistake. People are taking this as though it was done to be cruel towards the animal. I've been in the barn plenty of times to know that I am going to do my job, and if the horse is under my care things are going to be done my way. Teach a horse that it gets what it wants every time it starts pacing and pawing at the floor & that is how you find a horse that thinks they're higher on the food chain than you.
You are half correct, just the horses were extremely excited and because as the horse ran past her, he took the chance to give her a bit of a kick, his excitement got the best of him, you were right there is no agitation in his body language but, horses aren't predators therefore can't be higher in the food chain, you must mean higher in the herd.
@@magali-9909 you say they’re half correct just because of a mistake in a sentence? Idiot.
WOW! She took that like a BOSS! Thank the good Lord it wasn't closer to her head. She was lucky. For the horse, if it were mine, it would get a little respect training, before its ornery self seriously hurts someone. I have owned a few like that...or at least they came to the barn like that, but they sure didn't leave like that. Again, glad she is okay!
Yes, though she was not using ideal release methods. My green paint would charge anyone who had food. We quickly taught her to stand in the corner, sideways from us, and keep her head lowered until we were out of her stall and gave her the release que.
This was such a dangerous injury. She could easily die later from a kick like that. Poor thing she did not look all that young either, and having to do that kind of work,
That kick was payback for walking by with the hay twice and not hooking the horse up.
First of all, a horse should never be allowed to run down a barn. It's unsafe for the horse and the handler. Secondly, the handler should have never put herself in that position to begin with, because she clearly shows hostility toward the horse. She never once attempts to calm the horse. She should have lef it out before it was that agitated, and closed the gate so it couldn't come back in the barn before letting any other horses out. And if she had just gotten there and the horse was already angry, she should have waited a moment andlet him calm down and then feed him some hay, and then take him out by hand. Better yet, call someone and make sure you have help. Whem a horse is weaving in his stall and pawing like that, it's almost guaranteed that the horse will act out. It is in no way a good time to be out on the floor with a loose animal. I'm not trying to be condescending at all, but this carelessness of trainers and handlers needs to end. It's not good for anyone. Allowing this kind of thing dooms both horse and handler.
She shows no hostility - that's in your mind. The horse has no manners, has been allowed to show disrespect to humans - it is the trainer's fault. Being agitated for any reason other than abuse is no excuse for bad behavior.
Adoerfler
Well said. The trainer should have taken corrective action asap after the horse kicked out at her. Instead she walks down and closes the gate. In doing so the horse just learned it's okay to be disrespectful.
elio08 Yes, the horse should have been trained in manners long before this incident, but to NOT correct it after it kicked is silly. Of course you correct every time the animal shows disrespect. It is how you correct that is important.
elio08
Wrong. Correcting after the kick lets the horse know that the kick is completely unacceptable. There's a big difference between being disrepectful in the stall and actually striking out. Although both behaviors have the same root cause the actual physical attack cannot go uncorrected.
OMG the horse never meant to kick her. Look I own a miniature horse I am a new owner and don't know much about how to really handle them, I mean I know how I just have to learn, but people that know and how to read horses you will know the horse didn't mean to kick her. And the horse was just being a horse, they do that in the field. The woman putted pressure on the horse with out release so over all... Not horses fault, it was the woman's for not reading the horse.
Sometimes when I don't get fed, I kick people in the face too.
lol thank you!
The ADHD horse coming back
The horse didn't mean to kick her, he was just too happy to let out, that's all.
1:52 "f$%* out my road lady"
Tag you're it!
Really
That poor lady, she looked hurt to me. She's just tough as nails.
Owner: it sure is windy today
Looked like she was putting hay for the two of them, before turning them out and closing the gate, pretty common practice. She probably brought the other two in side and was getting the paddock ready for the other two. Horses get used to a pattern like that and they know when it's time to go out and to eat. She doesn't look like she's abusing or teasing the horse. It's feeding time and some horses get like that when it's time for turnout. He and his buddy probably get turned out and fed together and he know's the sooner he and his buddy get out of their stalls, the sooner they can eat.
1:53 Head shot 😵
widomaker - that wasn’t head shot it was an arm
Apparently dealing with horses is one of the most dangerous activities a human can do.
I've been working with horses for over 10 yrs. Been kicked, bitten, etc. A lot of close calls. It only takes a split second. We tend to get comfortable around our jobs and I just had a wakeup call walking away from a horse in a herd of 47. Tended to a mare that was lame and as I was walking away, one of the horses did a 360 and came after me as I was walking away from the mare and kicked me in the back of the head.. pretty sure that he was being possessive or protective of her.. It happened a month ago and have a bad concussion. Lucky to be alive. He was aggressive with other people before that as well I learned after the fact. Some of them are aggressive for different reasons. There's always a reason. Bottom line, when dealing with these powerful animals, always take the extra time to protect yourself or anyone else. Short cuts aren't worth it and eventually that close call could be your last call. I'm healing, but it hasn't been easy. Needless to say, I don't blame the horse. It's a horse. They can be possessive, aggressive, hurting, and many other variables. Just always watch your back and play it safe. I can't wait to get better enough to get back on. I'm 49 and horses are my passion. I just thought that after all of these years, it would never happen. My own horses are a different story, but then aagainyou can't fully trust any of them. When your working around horses and you don't know their history, it is more of a risk. After watching the video, I got the feeling that the horse was pissed that he didn't go out first and was impatient because it was trying to get to the hay. Either way, not a safe situation. Definitely when hyped up like that, should have been led out. They really all should be led out because too many horses with too many differentials.
Why didn't she just lead the horses out? it develop a better relationship with the horses she's working with.
Lazy. This way is quicker.
Am I the only one who saw the cat run under @ 2:06
Like a paws (play on words baws- paws)
lol me too
+Dante Zazueta I thought that was a dog
I saw it
why do you think you are? I guess everybody sees the cat.
Sometimes I get the feeling that horse is not a pet animal
My God! was that horse skillful .....that kick was like poetry in motion, precise, powerful and delivered brilliantly! She is lucky she wasnt standing 6 inches forward, she would have left this earth.
My experiences: mules kick twice as fast a horse
It's a small area. She was in the pressure zone of the animal so the horse kicked out. Horses don't kick for no reason, or just cause they "want" to.
IMO That horse kicked because it "wanted" to. She wasn't putting pressure on it at that time nor was she even looking at it(from what I could see in this fuzzy vid). She put herself into a dangerous spot. I hope she didn't get hurt too badly.
+welovepets1000 No horse kicks becouse it wants to!
No horse ever kicks because it wants to. For dominance, horses don't WANT to fight, it's just something they need to do. "A horse shows how it feels". And to put pressure on a horse, all you have to do is stand near them. Even touching them is pressure.
I am glad you have an opinion. We could split hairs on the topic. Does emotion drive behavior or behavior drive emotion? Does emotion exist? Why does any being do any behavior? Anxiety can be a motivator to all behaviors. i have no idea how much work this horse has had or the relationship this lady has had with the horse. Most domestic horses who are "pets" and handled regularly should not act this way as in the vid, So in this little clippit of a vid , I am merely expressing my opinion on what I see at that moment. You may have a point about horses in general but that is also an opinion. Some horses just never kick at all. Some do it daily. Behaviors are generally strengthened by whatever the consequence was from its previous experience. So kickers may learn to kick more if the previous event was successful to their mind. Thank you for your opinion.
That horse clearly has way too much energy
I could tell by how hyperactive and overstimulated that horse was, that it was that specific horse. It's so unfortunate how it literally deliberately goes out of its way at the last second to kick her. Just as a passing by gesture of, "hey, fawk you". Just wow. Animals can really be jerks.
Damn!! She's like a Timex- "Takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'"! 😁😄
God damn bro i thought it was gonna knock her out or something she took that like a champ!
The paint has a bit of a dominance problem. From the start of this video the paint was pushing against his stall, acting out and anticipating getting out of that stall to be with the bay across from him. When the woman pushed the paint out of the barn he immediately tried to return to the bay, but was run out again and then he came right back in with his ears back, willing to run over the woman, when the bay was turned out.
When the bay took off to leave the barn, he headed away from the woman and his ears were relaxed but the paint closed the gap on her and laid back his ears just as he took a shot at her.
It has been over 40 years since I worked as a trainer but I knew a gorgeous and muscular gelding that acted out like that and while he was fine around his owner you really needed to be careful that he didn't lunge to bite, kick or run over anyone else, even when he was under a saddle.
That horse was clearly frustrated. Was he hungry was he ticked because he's confined to a box. I know I would probably slap someone if I was hungry or confined.
Just like omg. I've never been kicked by a horse thankfully but that might've hurt! xc
Petraguar I have but... It didn't hurt!?
