@@AdilKhan-zh6hy1. I am not an expert, but the first I would say is go to the dr to try to rule out that the discoloration isn't due to a medical condition, obesity, insulin resistance, etc... If so, follow dr.'s recommendation.
2. Avoiding everything that could cause it such as:
Waxing or shaving
Clothes friction
Alcohol-based deodorants or highly fragranced. It's better an hypoallergenic antiperspirant.
Gently exfoliate to avoid dead skin accumulation. Just rub not scrub.
Try to quit smoking
Using lime & baking soda just worsened my armits.
3. Moisturize: One very important thing to do is to keep the area moisturized to use it as a barrier.
4. What has worked is gently exfoliation and using "concha nacar (mother of pearl) cream". It works slowly, but with patience and consistency I did notice an improvement after a few months.
5. Discuss with a dermatologist prescription topicals. Dermatologist may recommend or prescribe some retinoids. Also, treitinoin and adapalene.
Only if its too much.....every underarms, knee or elbow whitening have atleast 3% of glycolic acid in their product because glycolic acid keeps out the dead cells which cause darkening especially in armpit...
@@flynnryder7462 I used the ordinary product and didnt apply much anx still caused more hyperpigmentation. I have very sensitive skin. The dermatologist told me this product may cause t irritation which leads to hyperpigmentation

for Acanthosis you can book a doctor appointment, cuz I have same problem n when I test my blood it's came out I have pcod, high insulin leavel n some hormonal disbalance, then he give me some medication for pcod which effective for my underarm pigmentation then u can apply this kind of topical treatment.. I still have some noticeable pigmentation but it's lot better now.. oh n yeah I was over weight before n I loose 20kg it's kinda help with the condition. I still didn't apply any kind of cream or serum.. I'm wating for finishing my medical course
