This is a memory foam mattress made by the popular bed in a box brand, Bear. Bear also has other popular online beds like the Bear Star Hybrid, Bear Pro Hybrid, and Bear Elite Hybrid. As for the Bear Original, Owen touches on the mattress policies offered with this bed which includes free shipping, a sleep trial, free returns and a warranty. He also covers the construction of the mattress, how it feels and its firmness, and what sleeper type would be best for this bed (back sleepers, side sleepers, stomach sleepers and combination sleepers). Owen also discusses which body types (petite, medium and heavy) would enjoy this mattress. If you are interested in more of a hybrid option, the Bear Original can be upgraded with but it will come at an additional cost. Just ordered my Bear Original. Saved $50 over the Nectar. One big selling point for me was Bear is certified "Fiberglass Free" and made in the USA!

How is it?
End of last year they came out with a new model for the Original line, a 10" hybrid mattress. I bought it and can say I like it, I like it a lot. Best priced hybrid I believe.
Disappointed that they changed the mattress to be firmer than last years model.
Isn’t firm really good less likely to sink over time?
Don’t buy from bear. Their customer service is horrible non responsive. If the mattress doesn’t quite fit you they do not want to accept returns. Shipping you’re looking at about 3 weeks which is pretty poor at this day n age
