How are you enjoying your Jinbun so far? How does it compare to the Hobonichi?

I have really enjoyed using the Jibun, and overall I have grown to really like the Mio paper. It's very durable and smooth. It's so hard to compare it to the Hobonichi! I think the set up of the Jibun lends itself very well for me for goal setting and review. I also really appreciate the compact size and portability it has. So it's a much more practical, functional planner for me. But I also LOVED the Hobonichi...the paper, the design, everything is so wonderful. But I think the cousin with the daily pages is more planner than I need. If they made a Cousin without the daily pages, I'd be all in...from a purely practical purpose, the Jibun is overall better for me to use. For true love, it's the Hobonichi all the way... ;) Have you tried the Jibun yet?

I haven't tried the Jibun yet because for this year I've bough all 3 types of Hobonichi. I am really considering the Jibun for next year because the Cousin (which I use as my main planner) is beginning to be "more planner than I need" for me as well... And I absolutely hate wasting the beautiful paper. I totally agree with you that having just the monthly and weekly view in one book would probably be enough. I would LOVE to see them make a system similar to the Jibun with 2-3 smaller books that you can use (or not) depending on your needs... I would still choose the Biz over the Standard... that robot font is not for me! :-)))

Oh I *miss* having the different types of Hobonichis. :) It's like you can't have too many, even though one cousin is more than we need. And I am totally with you on the robot font. I really dislike it, and is one of the reasons I don't have the standard. (I also much prefer a neutral palette). I do think Hobonichi overall has a better use of type than the Jibun. Please let me know what you think when you do get one...it's only a half a year away at this point! :)
