  • Did I use a weed barrier when I built my cold hardy succulent rock garden? Here’s the answer and a view of my Sempervivum, Sedum, and Orostachys plant collection.

Looking great, do you have any hardy Agaves, Opuntias and Lewisias? They pair really well with the plants you have!

I still have another section to plant, and I was just looking at Agaves the other day (definitely interested). I had a Lewisia, but I didn’t get it planted in time. It didn’t overwinter in its pot 😔

Do you use only rocks in your soil mix for your beds? It would be so expensive for me to use on the rocks considering that they are expensive in my area. I am considering mixing P gravel, perlite, and potting soil together. I do get very hot summers. So I feel that they might enjoy the extra moisture from the potting soil. How are you very large perlite. Thank you

If those leaves are pointing up does it mean its getting enough sun? just curious because I recently planted my sempervivum in the ground and worries not getting enough light where I placed them.
