Yeah, I think I prefer the Green lists, you get so many free wins from things like Loam and Uro. I'm not particularly impressed by Big Kath tbh, Uro is probably just better
@@crucible_of_words somebody at my LGS was sideboarding her in infect. It was absolutely disgusting 😂 it seems like murktide 5-8 rather than a unique threat
@@leftysheppey I know Sam (fenris) promotes Big Kath in Infect and he's the go to person for infect atm for sure. I think for control lists, Uro just seems better a lot of the time (and beats Kath in combat), although Karakas is an issue (but a lot of uro decks run Wasteland anyway).
I love them personally. I like green control decks though, I always have done. It's the colour with the worst ability to do control, which is maybe why I like them
@leftysheppey Well I absolutely love GW or GR lands too so I kinda also love green control. Idk something about it just bores me to tears. But the overriding part if my brain that plays magic is a Control Mage that likes to play storm decks.
I don't own the Triumphs and my rental service doesn't have them yet, so I'm having to find generous subscribers to let me borrow them here and there. So there will be more content, I just can't promise when
@@crucible_of_words I bought the deck. As its said they wont be reprinted soon and after you no longer can buy the decks their price will increase by a lot. That makes it a solid "investment" even if I don't sell them any time soon
@@Andre-fm1zy Yeah, I've been trading into 40K cards on MTGO as much as I can, but I can't afford to drop cash on the card sets, but I play a lot so plenty of treasure chests to trade off. Currently I have 4 poxwalkers, 3 Mawloc and a Defiler. So hopefully can round those numbers out a bit and grab the other Legacy staple ones. Triumph being more expensive in tix than the entire pre-built deck is wild tho!
@@crucible_of_words I mean if I understand it correctly. They made an error before set release that they forgot to make a deal with their license partner for mtgo sales

I just cant bring myself to like Up the Beanstalk decks. 😅
