    Magnificent! I used to catch the train from Werribee to Geelong between 1989 and 1991 in my university days. So much is the same, so much has changed.
    There were conductors on the trains back then. I haven't been back to my hometown in years. It's amazing to see the raised sections of line approaching Werribee. Not to mention those high-rise buildings and changed intersections.
    I have no doubt A66 has chauffeured me between towns on many occasions. Thanks for the video. It's bought a lot of memories back to me. 😊

    As a frequent traveller by rail to Geelong and Warrnambool,much prefer this Werribee link to the rather uninspiring regional rail link to Melbourne,l imagine freight traffic is the main user now

    • @driver667
      @driver667  Před 4 měsíci

      Yes not a lot travels along that section now. 👍😀

    How often does this section of track get used since the regional link opened? 🤔

      Manor to Werribee does not see much use these days. 👍😀

    What are the numbers in the bottom left hand corner?... is that the speed your going at?

    • @Wdeane1957
      @Wdeane1957 Před 4 měsíci +1

      The white numbers are the distance from Southern Cross (I think) in kilometres.
      Yellow are the maximum speed permitted for the section of track (usually a curve)

    • @MrDoobee1

      As stated, white is km's from Southern Cross. Yellow with an arrow end is speed around the curve and direction of curve. 👍😀
