I'm a producer of electronic music (not a fantastic one, hence why I'm here) and I'm trying to improve my skills by using techniques used by groups like The Prodigy, as I am a massive fan and love all their music. If anyone knows about this and could help me out, I noticed in this song and a lot of others by TP they use a pulsating bassline. How do you make it pulse like that? I tried crescendos but that just sounds weird and not right.

Look up wobble bass tutorials. It'll show you in more of a dubstep context but it's essentially the same thing, it's basically changing one parameter without changing pitch.
The prodigy is not EDM !
It is electronic and it is dance music but it's more defined and belongs to the sub-genre Big Beat
I like it better than any Electronic music I ever heard in my life. I wish there was a genre of this sort of stuff... most of EDM suuuuuuuuuuuuuucks.
The Prodigy is its own genre
