- What's up everyone! Today we finally get rid of all the factory emissions, and install a pacesetter header....It's freaking LOUD!

When I put a header on my B2000, I drove it down to the muffler shop to get the muffler and pipe welded up. Loud as hell. I saw a cop and pushed in the clutch and coasted until he was out of earshot.
With 88 hp, even 1 hp is a noticeable upgrade to us 😂

Just did my Weber, header on my b2200 and had my exhaust done 2 days ago and it sounds great. Not cat with a muffler and good tip sounds awesome. Next thing to do is get her painted. It’d be cool if I could message you about your truck I have a couple questions and maybe a few tips to help y’all out with it I’ve had mine for a little over 3 years

WishI could do those modifications to my b2000 but California says gotta pass smog test. Only cars prior to 1975 are exempt. Could the Weber conversion ever meet California regulations?

Man you shouldn't take headers off with a impact . Break em loose by hand first. That's how you break em.

I took the exhaust off my b2600 when I needed to weld up some holes in it. It was soooo loud. Sounded like a tractor too.
Size for o2 sensor wrench?
The 02 sensor on the b2000/2200 carbs are only to operate the emissions control crap. Very first thing any of the mazda gurus like myself is a weber carb emissions delete and optional header.
I deleted emissions with header no cat have stock carb still but notice a difference in power.I had to have my head milled 26 thousand to use after head warped.Strong next will be weber.

Yeah, I’m sure you could. I’ve seen others who have done it before. You’ll just have to search the internet to find those builds.

What kind of drill and extension is that ?
not to rain on your parade , but it would have been a lot easier and less costly to just gut the factory catalytic converter and purchase OEM replacement exhaust parts
i did that very mod on a mitsubishi 2600 cc engine , just use a long extension to pulverize the catalytic honeycomb guts and shake out the bits
the guts had become clogged resulting in no acceleration above 50 klicks an hour , i just bought oem replacement parts and had a mechanic weld in a free flowing muffler
punching the catalytic only took around 5 minuted to do

I know I'm chipping in a year late but: I'm all for deleting the rat's nest of emissions equipment under the hood - but please get an after market catalytic converter. Our Corvette's cat had been deleted by a Boomer previous owner and the exhaust would burn your eyes if behind it. The cat is good for removing 95% or more of the emissions, while the crap under the hood was just eking out marginal improvements. Captain Planet will appreciate you making the effort.
What's wrong with the black header?

is the header legal to use in california ? how im going to pass my smogcheck when i need it ?? how are you gonna do it ?? ??
I'm not sure if this header is legal in California, and we don't have smog checks in Iowa.

julio medina we only need safety inspection where I live. I’ve eliminated my EGR & mostly gutted everything run straight headers have piping but have added it yet 🥴
Where's the Explorer? I'm dying to see you do some off road stuff. I have an 05 Explorer 4x4 with the V8 and I'm trying to get some ideas.
It'll be coming back soon! It was my moms daily driver during the winter. Now that its finally getting nice out, we'll be able to put some more work into it!!
