I’ve been using your granular fertilizers with great success. I’ve been wanting to add the liquid products for a long time, but I’ve been afraid it would be too complicated. I ordered the 4 pack anyway, bound and determined to try to learn. I’ve been putting it off due to fear. 😂 This video has me excited because it seems so easy. No fear of over/under mixing, and having fun with it. Now I can’t wait to throw ‘er down. Thank you Allyn!!! 👍
I just ordered a four pack of bio stimulants and a pack of hose end sprayers. When they get in I want to put some Air 8 and RGS on the lawn before I throw down the Flagship later this month. Central Arkansas. Needed to see this to make sure I'm planning the mixes correctly. Planning all of this while waiting the results of my soil test.
Where it's a little confusing to me is if you don't have to measure the amount to put in how you know you're getting an even amount over the lawn, or you may even run out before you get the entire lawn covered.
with practice and experience you quickly learn how to gauge the outflow to your coverage. it is one of those things that just clicks once you do a couple applications.
Today I bought a gallon of Air8 and the 2 pack quart sprayers. According to the video, fill half the quart(16oz) with water and the other half with Air8 for 2000 sq ft of coverage?
How about a video for larger 30 gallon sprayers for those of us with large lawns? Same with a helpful video on how to figure out amounts for those large lawns!
you don;'t really need to measure these - they have a wide usage range so as long as you fill it up half with water first, then no matter how much of them you put in for the rest, it will be within labeled spec.
I am new haven't received my irder yet i did get a 4 pack no mention of this free sprayer. If i am going to use this sprayer, y did i buy thr $90 battery sprayer? What am i using that for again?
Allen, Qeustion... i only have a 4100 sq foot yard. Would it make more sense for me to purchase the 4 - quart sized bundle bio-stimulants ? or get the 1 gallon sized bio-stimulants package bundle?
Allyn, wondering how big your spray bottle is? Looks bigger than my 32 Oz bottles. I have a big yard, I roughly treat 15,000 square feet and a larger bottle would help with time management. Thanks.
Hey Bob - that's the same 32oz that we put into our bundle packs. I do agree it's not ideal for a lawn the size of yours though. Ideally, a hose end sprayer should cover 2500 sq ft or so. Up to 3000 would be fine but stretching it anymore than that would work as you know. I've not really seen hose end sprayers larger than 32 oz anyway so that is something I need to explore for sure. In the meantime, have you looked at Pete from GCI turf's Spray Buddy? It's a significant investment but would last you a lifetime.
Allyn, thanks for the reply. I have not seen Pete' sprayer but will check it out. I have a 4 gallon backpack sprayer but have hesitated to use it for fear of the nozzle getting blocked up. As always, I appreciate your input and experience!!!
Yes that is a good idea - sometime in mid-March would be good for a scalp, then spray the bio-stimulants. If you spray them before hand, that is ok too since they are made for the soil.

"Hose management was not my strong suit in college." LMAO 😆
Awesome tip, got my soil test on its way to you as well, thanks!
First time I did this, my hose management was all out of whack and I sprayed 100% of the product on about 20% of the lawn! Learned my lesson boys!
Man this looks so much easier than using the Ortho Dial N Spray! Thanks!
It is! More fun too!
Can’t wait to get out and start spraying

you are going to love spraying once you do it a couple times!
Allyn makes it look easy

I just got my bio stim pack I frist apply rsg follow by air wait a week then I'm apply hum 12 after micro greene
Well it's like 30deg everyday and it's snows every other day it feels like so I'll have to live through you for now
does it matter time of day? Should I be laying these down when it is cooler outside? Or after the grass is mowed?
these can go down at any time of day, no risk of burning. We prefer to spray in the evening to watch the sunset, but that's just us. :)

@@yardmastery yes true thanks
Does air 8 harm shrubs and flowers?

Is it best to spray in the morning and the evening? Avoid the hot temperatures like when you watering the grass.
yes this will reduce evaporation. It's not about burning the lawn or anything like that though, just to be clear.

6oz of product for every 1000sqft
What camera are you using ? The color was so great in this video.
can this be used with a pull behind broadcast sprayer & also through lawn sprinnkler injection
Question: can you use pgr and rgs at the same time?
No need to measure The product? Or did you just go half way water then balance with product to get to the line?
you don;'t really need to measure these - they have a wide usage range so as long as you fill it up half with water first, then no matter how much of them you put in for the rest, it will be within labeled spec.
Do you put the water in first with the Ortho dial and spray too?
Can you hose-end spray pre-emergents as well?
I am new haven't received my irder yet i did get a 4 pack no mention of this free sprayer. If i am going to use this sprayer, y did i buy thr $90 battery sprayer? What am i using that for again?

How do we get the hose end sprayer…I just ordered the mix pkg, but it didn’t have the sprayer…
Will there be an email announcing the release of the 2023 Lawn Guides?
yes for sure, sometime in the next couple weeks.
Do u recommend using this bottle for spraying our powdered pre emergents
No we don't recommend that. The hose end sprayer is just for the bio-stimulant or liquid fertilizers.

What happens if you do not use water filling and you use 100% of these products into the bottle. Thanks 😊
the mix can get a little too thick and the venturi won't have the ability to push the concentrates up the tube.
👍🏾👍🏾
Can you mix the Bio-Stimulants in a 4 gal sprayer?
Yeah
Great video. I can't find the hose end sprayer on your website. Does one come with the bio-stimulants?
I could not find them either on his website... bought one from Amazon.
you can get one free with these packs thelawncarenut.com/pages/custom-diy-lawn-care-fertilizer-packs (create your own pack)
Hey A.H; I didn’t get a sprayer with my pack!?? 😢
sorry about that - submit a ticket here and my team will respond in the AM yardmastery.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
How can I order the empty plastic bottles ? Thanks
here you go yardmastery.com/products/empty-quart-hose-end-sprayer-bottles-2-pack
Do these expire
they have a 3-4 year shelf life but even if they are older than that, we still recommend giving them a good shape and putting them out on the lawn.
College hose management
It's a real issue 😂
Do I need to scalp my bermuda before this?
Yes that is a good idea - sometime in mid-March would be good for a scalp, then spray the bio-stimulants. If you spray them before hand, that is ok too since they are made for the soil.
Spray and pray
*Promosm* 💐
Your “what” in college? 😂
Allyn, does mulching cause thatch?
No it doesn't. Side discharge doesn't either. Grass clumping when you mow is what causes thatch buildup. If you are seeing clumps, do a double cut.
Can these be put on newly plugged St Augustine?
