I still stand on this.
When gogeta lands first attack, fills gauge by 100%(resets when switched out). Assault chain fills gogeta gauge by 50% (twice) (resets when switched out). He doesn’t need anything else
Also the blue and green card should count as part of the chain
Yes but still assault chain is underwhelming, it isn't doing enough and ur sacrificing side step and charged step for that which is a big deal
Imo gogeta should nullify endurance at all times. That way he can actually deal with gohan

At the end of the day, tier lists don’t really matter because a unit can still put in work regardless of their placement on a list.

i feel like everyones ignoring the fact that gogeta has a blast through (upgraded blast armor that cant be countered via blast break or damage the character by blast cards) blue card and has an AOE protect like red beast gohan and yel jiren from the previous anniversary, both are extremely strong and UNDERRATED mechanics which could clutch a game easily
An "easy" way to to buff assault chain would be if it drained unique gauges when it lands. As it stands if other characters could benefit from him lowering Gohan or UI's unique gauge his value would be equal to Vegito I think.
Random video idea: LF Super Vegeta needs Ki Recovery to his kit, right? I believe SP BLU SSJB Vegeta (the Support type one) grants +50% of uncancellable Ki Recovery to tag "Vegeta Clan"....

I think a niche way to 'fix' Gogeta Blue would be to allow assault chain to be performed after a blue card, now hear me out, if you have a blue card in your hand already, then you could theoretically start a combo, main ability, blue card, assault chain, blue card.

We need to start considering the fact vegito can also depend on meta. If we get some really strong rising rush counters it could get really bad for vegito’s rush ability. Especially when you start considering the possibility of using more than one unit with this ability. I understand rn there’s not a lot of units with this ability but goku frieza can still be used and if we get 1 more unit that can do what goku frieza can do then vegito basically wouldn’t be able to rush
I would agree that this meta we're in is really good on paper, with all the viable teams and such, but i don't think this meta is actually that fun in reality because many of the best and most prominent characters that are on nearly every team are just so toxic and poorly designed. Running into UI, Rat Gohan, Golden Frieza every match cuts the game's fun in half in my opinion. I have only been playing since the tag 4s came out but i think the most fun meta ive experienced was the post 2022 legends fest pre kid buu meta, but maybe thats just because the game was fresh to me at the time.

From my experience in NA queue around BR 60, Gogeta has been providing me immense value, enough for me to put him at 2. I definitely see why people would have him as low as 5 but from my experience using the character, he's provided me with so much and has constantly carried matches for me. I do think assault chain is underpowered and not as good as people made it out to be but otherwise I just do think he's #2, but that's just my opinion.

28:00 I have a feeling they deliberately gave him the Dragon Ball unique gauge to display when you have a rush. Otherwise you just get slapped with an insta-kill out of nowhere. It feels like an attempt at balancing the unit.
46:00 I've discovered a temporary fix to the crashing issue. The game gets more unstable the longer you play it. In order to prevent yourself from crashing during gameplay, you have to restart your game constantly. If you're playing PvP, restart your game after every match. Doing this has prevented me from crashing.

I think one way to fix the gauge would also be to just add cover null on green card or some other way for 5+ counts for like 1-2 times and give him scaling permanent damage with each completed gauge to at least make sense having such short combos
All legends has to do to fix assault chain is add the ability to nulify strike gauges when using a green and blue green in the assualt chain.

Just remember that there are almost 500 characters in the game. LF Fusing Gogeta Blue being #5 doesn’t mean he’s bad. Being 5th still means you are better than 494 other characters and only slightly worse than 4 others.
Honestly I agree that all his strike arts should have the assault chain mechanic and it’s weird that it’s not setup that way. Considering he doesn’t get cover null at all and can still be forced to use blast arts cards I don’t think it’s too much to ask that his strike arts are always safe

I would like a small buff to fusion gogeta
I've been running Janemba on Powerful Opponent with UGF and he's been doing great tbh, he's perfect for disrupting combos without having to land a cover change.
Gogeta countering his gauge doesn't matter too much because he has to get caught first, so as long as you don't switch into him while the opponent has Gogeta ready, you're good. Also counters both Vegito's and Gogeta's green and blue and overall just deters the opponent from using any melee cards, also making them very easy to read, as in they will do a blast if they don't have a green unit to take the ult and will do a strike on purpose if they have a green unit to take the ult.
He removes Vegito's buffs on his rush aswell while also reducing sub count to let you easily switch into an endurance unit and survive the rush.
With his green reducing ki and db and his main destroying cards, while also have a good amount of healing and being able to tank any ult (except Gohan's, but you can just swap into Frieza for that) by removing buffs and being a great combo extender, I think he's overall just in a very good spot rn, I'd say he's arguable up to top 8 or even 7, IMO
I literally just lost to a Ultra Gohan bc I used assault chain to nullify he’s Unique gauge but all I did was run outta Ki then I dodge he’s attack just run into a blast card that breaks amour then lost to a ultimate from Gohan

I play on an iPad that is only 3 years old. Legends was running fine before the anniversary, but now the game consistently crashes if I play more than one match in pvp or pve even on the lowest settings.

To be honest, Gogeta Blue's main counter to Gohan besides the assalut chain is his Blue Card. It straight-up nullifes Blast Arts in general.

I think most of us are forgetting 2 important effects gogeta picks up once he fuses.
1. He is not effected by the wide range green cards which ultra gohan users including myself love to spam.
2. He nullifies blast cards with his special move. So armour break blast cards have no effect on gogeta using his blu card.

Goresh I hope you're seeing this comment, I'd like to address the crashing issue myself, I am using iPhone 12 and the game crashes most of the time when I play PvP and I loss rp and even got banned from playing PvP for hours. A workaround I've found is that I play 2, 3 pvp matches then I restart the app after some time and then I play some matches again otherwise there's a constant fear of crashing and losing rp and also getting banned. Hoping you'd let the devs know on twitter regarding this issue as I don't have twitter / X

See I like Goresh in the sense of he does a good job explaining things and not being an a hole. I always loved vegito more but ever since the broly movie Dokkan gives more love to gogetta so I got used to it makes sense with recency bias. It’s funny seeing people war over him. I still love using Lr Agl Vegito blue even though there are so many better options. But in this case LF FGB is competitive and can age well depending. Unlike most of the vegitos in Dokkan.

I’ll take a lock in guarantee kill with ui goku and vegito then chain attack I’ve played against gogeta a lot and it’s only good if there is 1 character left. When I have 2 or 3 I can easily spread out the attacks

@karbyboi8489 if u can waste the lock in early on then it's not that great but if mid part during the match u get caught by it then it's risky cus the opponent can easily rush . Plus UI can stop combos and most units rn are just strike based . Overall he do have more value

An easy way to fix assault chain is to make Gogeta be completely immune to all debuffs
He basically is ,he is immune for the first 50 counts after transformation

@@omnifrost3553 Combo compensation isn't a debuff, it's part of the battle system. Arts power down is an attribute downgrade and therefore Gogeta nullifies future ones he gets after transforming for 50 counts (and cancels existing ones he has).
