Thank you Paul for the review! Can you recommend some good iem about 15-30$ range for watching movies, listen to movies soundtrack, hans zimmer soundtrack, anime soundtrack?
There is a trade off on the imaging and I have actually looked at a couple other gaming signatures which are more in line with your idea and my assumption before I listened to this one. As I said, maybe they lucked out or are geniuses, but there is something to constraining the upper range in the same way that pinna gain affects stage for music.
A lot of people asked about 7hz Zero:2. Cheap, not as bright as Zero 1, and will still play music in a reasonable way. The gaming sets don't necessarily sound better for gaming, but look cool and might include a mic. CVJ is looking at more gaming friendly tuning but still a work in progress.
I am not convinced on that as I watched Crinacle's video on the Razor Moray and talks about gaming IEMs. The gist is there isn't really an IEM out there that shows a particular advantage in gaming. And the EPZ G10 should come with a boom mic not a cable mic. He does talk about picking up the higher frequency sounds like footsteps or shots but I would also say that the directional and distance based sounds that are lower in frequency are picked up better on some sets. The G10 is as good as others but the sound signature will also work in music where the Moray was not good.
Basically the recent ones are KBEAR Rosefinch, 7hz Legato and then if you have a fat wallet, Fatfreq. You are chasing rainbows though, it is hard to pin down a perfect basshead set. Better off EQ'ing sets you have already to find out what type of basshead you are and what that bass shelf would look like.
So I would ask someone else the same question. G10 is like relaxed Harman compared to EW200, so EW200 will come across as more detailed and better imaging. Stage, I'd still give it to G10 but other people seem to love EW200 more than I did.
Yep, EPZ is dabbling in other regions and I said the same thing, get some of your other sets out to reviewers and on squig so people can compare and shop.
That UV light trick is so cool!
yes, but it is too short. Maybe gamers have more UV lights around their stations.
Awesome review as always Paul👍
Awesome review man! I imagine these + Kinera Gramr/Ruyi would be the perfect gaming combo.
Yep, cool idea and I assume they will continue refining a signature that works for them.
Interesting review. I’m an embarrassing gamer at best. Thank you.
Same here, but the idea is right.
Thank you Paul for the review!

KZ D-Fi, Tangzu Wan'er/Chang Le are two that are popular in that price range for general usage.
For gaming I would suspect that you need something with amazing dynamic range... Games can go from very silent to extremely loud very fast

any recommendations for a good and clean gaming IEM on the budget side?

Is this the Best IEM for gaming at this price?

G10 or EW200 which has better resolution, imaging and soundstage?
