#83 #TanmayBhat #VarunThakur - Zábava
Everyone talking about how ranveer embodied Kapil but dude how accurately Tahir has played gavaskar.
Tahir's facial expressions and hairstyle matched the young Gavaskar
true, ,loved his acting
Tahir was bad for me ... Check out Saqib Salim and how he portrayed mohinder Amarnathji
83 = Mimicry of ICT players that's it !!
Worst movie of Kabir Khan Deepika Ranveer all of their careers
Yeah I love tahir and sakib
It's the way Varun is genuinely happy like you can feel the energy in his voice. I really hope his wish of doing a cricket related movie gets fulfilled soon as I know he be putting everything wholeheartedly. Netflix.
This movie made me, a 16 year old, realise two things.
1. How massive this win was. It literally gave an identity to a nation and that is no freaking joke. It made us prouder as Indians. It gave us a pedestal to stand on globally. It gave us a seat at the high table. Cricket is massive today in India. It is a sport that has an almost guaranteed successful career. And that's a huge deal. That was possible because of these guys. I once heard someone say that cricket and cinema are two of the most influential entities in India. While cinema gained its influence over many decades. Cricket went from 0 to 100 in one world cup because of these guys.
2. What an absolute revolution hardwork and determination can bring about. These guys winning the world cup in 83 would be equivalent to India's team winning the Fifa world cup today. They had no facilities and no one gunning for them, not even their own countrymen. It was just them. A handful of players and they rocked the nation. It shows me that we can either make excuses for our situations or kick their ass so hard we change the trajectory of the nation.
I was born 23 years after this world cup but this movie made me not only aware of what this world cup did but feel it. Mind you those are two very different things. It made me a person in absolute and complete awe of the living legends, the epic dieties that were the Indian cricket team of 1983 and feel indebted to them for what they did for the identity of the nation with their only incentive being patriotism.
Hats off Kabir Khan, Ranveer Singh and the team of '83.
Take a bow, the legends, the icons, the winners of the 1983 world cup.
❤
That was very well written. This movie was a treat for all of us who did not even exist at the time of this legendary world cup.
@@parasamesar7187 thank you❤
You are absolutely right.
@@parasamesar7187 absolutely just heard dad say that it was something and this movie is a way I lived through that era.
bhen kya mst likhti hai tu
@@vaibhav7457 thanks bhai. Ladki hun main vaise.
The Background score whenever Sir Viv Richards is shown on screen is just another level... Just Love it!! Swag at it's best!
They need to put that BGM on youtube.
YES!!
MAKE IT HAPPEN NETFLIXX
West indies players ke andar wo swag hamesa se hai....Gayle,Bravo and others av v hai
Viv Richards to bhai gajab ke player the...darte the bowlers unse...
Baaki sehwag, Hayden wagareh bhi aaye but wo khauf alag hi tha
Oh yes that music is coool!!
YES!!!!!!
Listening to varun talk abt cricket is such a joy!! ❤
Bhai jo bhi video dekh rha hu usme, teri hi top comment hoti h
@@harshkhandelwal2818 because channel is verified and comment is copy pasted!
this dude never ever watched any persons video by the way!
Who's Varun? He's Yoges
Love the way tanmay controls his jokes when sachin came 🤣🤣😭😭
Man this movie is made purely for the love of cricket and that's the beauty of it! Absolutely brilliant!!
But phir bhi iss movie ko log troll karre hai 😥😥
Still a flop movie
@@noonecares514 this is only for people who have great knowledge about cricket
@@noonecares514 because logo ko bollywood ko aankh baand karke hate karna karna aata tha isliye ye pot gayi. Iske ilawa aur movies bhi flop hui thi
Epic movie.. It's a disgrace to the Indian audience that it failed in the box office
It's just a documentary
People liked pushpa more
Sad reality
True
Agreed
One scene i feel still so great is that. When Mann Singh asks for finals pass. The English man says when your reach finals I'll give it. And when he takes it the proud feeling in Maan Singh's face was so great.
Internet said so from varun and his friends is one of the most underrated podcast ever. People should give it try. I'm pretty sure people will love it & you'll gain some knowledge too regarding various topics. I am binge watching their podcast from long time. They're hilarious.
Tiss army!!!
bellboddum!!
Bellboddum!!
Tiss op! Bellboddum
yes but I miss selmon Bhai references lol
It was awesome to see that the children of these great cricketers were playing their dads in the movie (Chirag Patil, Carl Greenidge and Mali Marshall). And best moment was when one of the sixes in that 175 innings was caught by Kapil Paaji himself
I could sense Varun’s happiness through the screen!
probably the first Tanmay react video in which some one has spoken more than Tanmay. Congrats Varun💥
This movie was literally blood sweat and tears. This is an underdog movie. No matter what country. The struggle was real.
We need to see more of this collab in the future!
The best scene of the movie was the interval scene, where the kid raises the indian flag among a sea of Zimbabwe and west indies flags...
Full goosebumps!!!
Yeah
One thing I could relate with Varun (and many of us I’m sure) was how he grew up listening to the stories from his father. Same here, and to watch the movie in the hall with my parents was just an icing on the cake .. many goosebumps moments and amazing casting! It’s unfortunate that the film didn’t do well commercially but I absolutely loved it. It takes a lot of effort to recreate a match exactly like it happened, so hats off to the team!
15:58 Stan Lee moment, right there.
I still remember the time my family saw Kapil up close in Kolkata airport in around 2005. My dad standing all stunned and overjoyed, a bright smile plastered on his face, right hand frozen on his shirt pocket to take out a notepad for autograph. I saw the same joy and excitement when we were watching this movie. Absolutely brilliant!! 😂😍😍 Like Tanmay mentioned, it would be awesome if a similar format movie comes up on world cup 2011 as well 😍
Thakur and Bhat are always so fun together. GOATs.
I feel sad why didn't people appreciate this movie, I mean off course it's there decisions. But, this movie is sooo gud n entertaining, the cast, jokes, lines n cinematography. Hats off to all the team of 83, what a movie. I really enjoyed it n in the theater it's look so gud .uff amazing movie
I feel 2007 T20 WC would make a better movie, going into 2011 WC India were strong favourites plus they had home ground advantage. But 2007, we were coming of a horrible WC and no one expected a young team led by a young captain with no prior experience, another true underdog story and another chapter which changed Indian cricket forever with T20 cricket becoming a prominent feature in our landscape.
Dude home advantage wasn't an advantage back then. All home teams used to lose the tournament. We were the first ones to break the curse.
i am not a cricket fan or someone that has knowledge about cricket but i loved this movie so much, It has to be ranveer's finest works. The cast was just perfect.
Tanmay's detailed and elaborate introduction of Varun Thakur:
Rohan, Naveed, Kaneez, Aishwarya be like: Abbey saale...!
Yeah cuz Varun and Tanmay are childhood friends soo
Nobody
Literally nobody
Varun every 10 seconds : btw this is also true ok..goosebumps dekh mere
Ham cricket fans ka yhi hota h bhai...alag hi love and passion hai
Dhruv , 2020 called
They want their meme back
@@luckydude3764 lol
Amazing casting and great movie, undoubtedly. Disappointed that nobody is talking about Neena Gupta and Viv Richards being in this movie. 😕 😆
so happy to see Thakur and Tanmay in the same video🔥👑👑
I freaking cried many times in this movie! this was too too good!
I have watched 83 earlier but it give goosebumps now too
I do not watch cricket at all, but this one definitely have me most goosebumps ever. 🌼✨
Then what you watch

Varun made this reaction 100x better by genuinely fanboying so hard on the story!! ❤️
@5:12 that Romy + Cadbury Ad.... Hilarious Varun bro!!!
When i watched this movie i got goosebumps and realised how special that moment was for Indians.
In love with the movie.
lots of love from Pakistan
VARUN THAKUR IS LOVE♥️ Genuine REAXX!! Cricket op
Bring varun to more reaction episodes. He’s too good
I don't even. Watch cricket and still this movie was an emotion
I had goosebumps legit , not kidding
Same!! 😂 I got teary at quite a few moments
Such an emotional film, I was literally in tears 😭❤️
Varun - i wish you would have gotten the part , the love you have for cricket is immense and i have seen that from TISS episodes
Poori cast me koi tha jisne Rohit Sharma ko out kiya ho 😅
175 as stated by the legend Sunny G himself, is the inning that changed Indian cricket forever,we can do a B175 and a A175 literally with it.
Had goosebumps watching a reaction stream. Shows how GOOD the movie was and how ICONIC was 83
The Historic Movie!
The Historic End!
Everything was just so perfect in it but just a small complaint with the editors of this reaction they cropped of that scene in the end where Sachin(young) said "दादा! मैं भी INDIA के लिए cricket खेलूंगा।"🙂
Best combination of two comedians talking about cricket.
It is 02nd April, 2022 in New Zealand here.. and Tanmay reacts on '83 has been uploaded today! Coincidence much? Enjoyed this one a lot.. ❤❤
11th anniversary too!
So there's one small detail you missed: When Kapil and Mann give their first press conference before the start of the Cup, we see just 5-6 journalists, who laughed and dismissed Kapil's comments as over ambitious. But in the conference before the final, we see the whole room teeming with journalists and everyone's interested when Kapil repeats the same thing. The attention to detail in this movie is just amazing!! 🔥
Bro that's not really a small detail
That's not a small detail mate.... They are literally in the finals and ofcourse there will be many number of journalists...
Not a small detail man
83 like kar d 🤭
No one :
Varun : dekh mrko goosebumps aya..
Fun Fact: Madan Lal role played by Hardy Sandhu(Harvinder Sandhu) who himself used to be a fast bowler and has payed India U19 in U19 World Cup 2004.
Not just cricket fans, I think all Indians would love this movie! ❤️
If kabir khan ever decides to make that movie then I think it would a great way to debut virat kohli playing himself.
Tanmay please react on "DHOL" with Rohan and Zakir bhai it will be fun.😂😂😂
Ikrr underrated movie. One of my fav comedies
Excuse me, did this literally make me cry for real??? 🥺❤
Good control shown by Tanmay at 17:33
The reactions of Varun r so perfect he just made it even more wonderful 👍🏻
U missed the part where they showed the reporter eating newspaper as promised..
And 1 more highlight was that they scored 183 in the 1983..
I have only a vague memory of watching this match on our first B&W TV as a 6-y-o. It didn't make much of an impact on me back then, of course. It was only later in life that I realised what an accomplishment it had been.
Netflix making our day better by posting Tanmay reacts 😭✌️♥️
The film was commercialized to some extent (which I am not against unless they are misusing it). I watched this movie in hall... We are the generation who have heard stories about the epic win.. But to watch it on the big screen and feel those moments was something else. The cast and cinematography was amazing!!! Just brilliant... Ranveer singh has nailed it!! The support cast in the cricket team has also done a commendable job. The movie didn't do that well, but personally I loved it.
Also, PANKAJ SIR!!! Like always he is fantastic
Bhaak
@@rockyh1652 as Shankar says, "Nobody cares! " 😂😂
Can you tell me where Ye hausle song (Kk version ) plays
Varun definitely took over Tanmay in this reaction video. Listing to him blabbering all excited was super fun..
I enjoy this ep.... Most.. it's unimaginable happiness to watch this with true cricket fan....sala tabhi majja ata hye...nahi too nahi...or comedian bhi chahiye 😂
I had posted this on Sorabh Pant's show as well [in the episode featuring the Gauravs (Gupta and Kapoor)]. In fact, they even discussed it briefly. And I would like to know if Tanmay and Thakur would be up for a cricket match between comics. The commentary would be hilarious, if some other funny cricket buffs like Angad, Neville, Dudu, Karunesh, KV, Aakash Mehta, etc. join in as well.
Absolutely loved the film but really wanted to see how the players celebrated the world cup in the dressing room & afterwards.
They missed a main part... Kapil mocking about Ravi sastri belly...fastfood burger wala joke
Guys how can you forget the Iconic Maruti ad music being played at the key moments of the movie .
This is of one of the most Nostalgic 90's TVC, Ghar aa Gaya Hindustan by Ram Sampath.
Needed this!
I cried while watching the movie, as well as this video... uncontrollable tears of joy and pride
They and us too enjoyed ot like a child!!!
Beautiful movie ❤️❤️❤️cried two times while n continuous goosebumps ⚡️
One of the few rare movies that focused solely on the sport. That’s what a sports movie should be
this movie i watched because i wanted to witness that iconic victory n i loved the movie
As a cricket fan and stories I ve heard frm my dad abt this World Cup were brought to life as it is glad I caught it in theatres.....
I can’t believe I hadn’t watched this movie for so long. I loved every minute of it!
Tanmay dude you can just make anyone laugh.....thanks😫❤😁😂🤣🤣
varun as munaf would be brilliant in 2011 wc
Being a cricket fan as well as a tanmay fan this was so entertaining and funny 😂😂
@17:35
Tanmay's face though. 😂😂😂
I literally had tears in my eyes during the last scene.. i don't know why❤️❤️❤️❤️
Because It's pride 😀
Varun mimicking Kapil was spot on XD
Both are legends
Yaar Kapil Paaji Cup ke saath saath Dil Bhi Jeetliye Tumne ❤️❤️❤️
This was the combo I was waiting for 🥰
Zakir and Nishant as well next time plzzz
I was skeptical before watching because I have read books listened to podcasts about back stories and everything maybe few things were here and there but when we received the trophy my eyes were teary with proud.
83 movie is like full of emotion to me . jab jab mene dekha ye movie tab tab ro padi hu(jab sare cricketers bus me he aur bahar sare flags ke bich me ek indian flag dikha tabhi)💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓💓
I have watched this film in theatre with 3D effect. Feeling hell lucky now. This is a masterpiece from Kabir Khan.
Here to watch this 2nd time 😍 I loved this video so much
It's good to see Netflix, tanmay and ankur warikoo in one frame......
This movie is just amazing👏👏👏👏
Tanmay’s awkward silence when little sachin runs in. XD
Varun Thakur can def play Munaf Patel if a movie about 2011 world cup is made
I recently saw this movie what a movie like we never saw what was happening that time and it shows every bit of indian team from boarding in airport to last scene of lifting tropy great movie and all the characters were so upto point. Then i saw tanmay reacts🤣🤣🤣 oh my god too good.
I've watched this movie in theatre & cried so much tears of joy , everybody kept looking at me but i couldn't help but kept sobbing... Always my comfort movie ❤......
Finally
I was just thinking about it!!!!!!!
in this whole video , i got the goosebumps only when sachin came
Sachin Wala Moment Mai Literally I Was Crying
Tanmay's Videos are always best!!!
I am totally confused where should I watch 83 airtell or Netflix
Maturity is when you realise that Tanmay sabse 83 dekhne ka paisa leta hain ◠‿◕
that was a treat to watch with Packed house
Arhhhhh.......just felt the same as in 1983💞
bhai... ind vs zim.. the iconic match is explained differently in kapil sir's own book, dont know how and when this story of him going for a shower came in... it was surprising to see this as well as thoda dukh hota hai ki ab sach thoda side kr diya jata h
man this movie is so underrated
Watching 83 was a much bigger moment for my Dad than me but cool movie
Loved this reaction
