Auracast is the new Partyboost, they cannot work together, even though JBL tried to imply otherwise, shame on them for this. 4 generations of f you throw out your old speakers and buy new ones.
Wdym? You can connect the new ones to the partyboost ones still
auracast is not a new partyboost lol. auracast is a bluetooth technology, not a JBL technology. there’s other speakers with it.
DO THEY HAVE TO CHANGE THIS EVERY GENERATION?!?!?
IT WAS PARTY BOOST
PARTY PLUS
SOMETHING ELSE I DONT REMEMBER ON JBL XTREME 1
AND NOW AURACAST?!?!?!
KEEP IT ONE!!!! I DONT WANT TO UPGRADE YETTTTTTTTT
It was a proprietary feature now it's an official Bluetooth feature. It's not only sharing but broadcasting to unlimited devices.
You cannot connect to old partyboost speakers. What does this means!?
@@HAIYANE9910 we don't get to use new partyboxes with old ones...
@@umittaskin No they could have easily made partyboost just by ticking a box. No reason to ride JBL d like this man. No one else does this with teir partyboost or auracast. They are not the only ones doing this or struggling to code properly as you claim.
@@HAIYANE9910 You might be able to party Together as they call it now, but no you cannot connect auracast and partyboost speakers. They imply you can by listing them in two groups on the same page and never say they are incompatible with partyboost because f the customer right.
But it's not real Auracast it seems... I was very excited to try out the BT Auracast features of JBL Go 4, but was met with pure disappointment. First, the speaker only seems to use legacy advertising to advertise some manufacturer data. Second, on connection, it seems to be using BT Classic (not LE Audio). Then a new advertising appears and it's possible to make a new connection to the device (so now 2 connections from same phone). On the new connection, there seem to be LE Audio services exposed (but no BASS for broadcast receive). Also, TMAS seems to indicate unicast receive and broadcast send/receive roles. However, playing music from the phone, using the LE connection produces no sound (although the phone seems to be streaming). Also, without Broadcast Audio Scan Service, how do they plan to fulfill the broadcast receive role? Imo, JBL probably released the product before the software was ready.
When is the announcement of jbl boombox 4?
Why JBL GO 4 Refused to connect to JBL Flip 6. At the same time, when in the video you show that connection technologies are compatible
you need the go 5 and something newer than the jbl flip 6
The Flip 6 is the newest speaker in that lineup though @@trymsvareide
When will there be a firmware update on Charge 5?
Can I connect JBL Partybox Stage 320 with Clip 5?
Yes, I would assume since it’s saying in the video! 🔥
@@dannylevitin Thanks
But you cannot connect if you have Partyboost speakers.
The Charge 5 Wifi is Bluetooth 5.3; this feature should be added via a firmware update if possible
What was wrong with partyboost?
bluetooth 5.3 would not party with 5.2 its a master and slave problem i could not connect a boombox 3 to charge 5 but if the charge is master the boom works they also advise against 2.4 freq interference problems with devices
It's pretty sad that only jbl xtreme 4 can connect to partyboost speakers wirelessly
@@BrownChocoMilkBoyi dont understand dont they all connect but xtreme 4 uses aura or something
Dear JBL Team, can you please recommend a smartphone that you tested with Auracast to function with your Auracast Speakers? I want to buy a new complete setup (phone, headphones and speakers) that has reliable LE Audio Broadcast.
That isn't how any technology works. Buy what you prefer in phones and other tech.
@@Bound4Earth sadly you are wrong. This technology is supposed to work like you envision, but only Samsung is currently supporting this "kind of" with only their galaxy buds 2 pro. Currently this technology is only held back from implementing it into existing operating systems like iOS and Android. Phone makers and OS developers need to catch up finally.
@@dunichtich100 I was talking about headphones and everything else. JBL doesn't answer comments and even if they did their headphones are not even close to best in class.
I have followed the Phone PCs, very cool concept, but I find every time it is implemented it slows overtime until it runs like Chromebook once you have 20 tabs open with apps. Have they improved beyond that experience. Not sure Chrome can with their memory leaks.
I mean it does work and always did, but in a way similar to a $200 android phone.
You already talked yourself out of the JBL speakers and headphones. None of them support LE audio. They finally added AAC to the paltry SBC list. So only 2 because JBL gave up and gives no fs anymore. I imagine by the time Xtreme 9 launches it will be $1200 and 80 as loud as the competition, down to 60% as loud when portable (you know the reason it exists).
They will probably kill the battery with with a loser Apple move like Wireless only charging for planned obsolescence. Make sure that battery dies faster and sells more battery packs. What happened to JBL, used to be amazing, now they just keep trying to insert objects into me and I am over it.
Check out Sony if looking at Bluetooth headphones (supports SBC/AAC/LDAC) and sound good. Something like the WH-1000XM5, or the classic Sennheiser 600 if you want wires.
@@Bound4Earth again you are wrong my friend. Auracast is one of the features that only come when a product can use LE Audio and the LC3 coded. Look it up, it is on the website of the Bluetooth special interest group. Auracast without LE Audio is impossible and JBL advertises their speakers to have Auracast, and in order to be allowed to say that legally, their products have to be reviewed and certified by the Bluetooth special interest group.
Why JBL not updating PARTYBOX 710 with auracast?
it needs a hardware change witht eh new bluetooth generation. It is not software
This was. Forcing to buy new speaker to be able to achieve enjoyable omni directional sound. Unfortunately if you have Boombox 3 and you buy any or partybox club or stage. You can't pair neither of the partyboxes to partyboost speakers. What a shame.
Nice
Love JBL ❤ 😎
Why my charge 5 has static sound when it's in low volume?
Does it still do the static when it's plugged in?
Auracast seems to be an idea to convince me to throw away my good and not so old jbl speakers and to buy new ones. Not very clever idea, actually
well it's making you thinking about it and probably made a lot of ppl go buy their new devices. To seamlessly connect multiple or an endless amount of speakers that have auracast (all future jbl products) is incredible.
That’s not a JBL thing it’s a Bluetooth SIG standard and it’s implemented in other speakers such as Sony and senheizer
@@slapshotjack9806 so your'e saying one can essentially, connect multiple speakers from multiple brands?
@@Dabby724 They need to update the firmware on last years devices.
Bro jbl out here tryna milk money from us bro like i have flip 3 it has connected plus but then they change it to partyboost then i bought a charge 5 and now auracast bro really?
