    Ingredients:
    *************
    Raw Banana- 3
    Bengal fried Gram dal- 50 grams
    Onion- 1 or Shallot onions- 15
    Green chillies- 3
    Ginger- Small piece
    Garlic cloves- 8
    Cardamom- 2
    Cloves- 1
    Cinnamon stick
    Fennel seeds-1 tsp
    Poppy seeds-1 tsp
    Grated coconut- 1/2 cup
    Curry leaves
    Coriander leaves
    Red chilli powder- 1 tsp
    Salt
    Oil
    Preparation:

    Take 50 grams bengal fried gram dal & grind it in a mixer to make fine powder & keep it aside.
    Take 3 raw banana Cut them into 2 pieces each & place it in the idli vessel.Close the lid & Steam it for 15 mins.
    Make slight cuts in the pieces, this will help in peel off the skin once it is steamed.
    After 15 mins, open the lid it & check should be cooked well. Move it to another plate.
    Some cook it in the pressure cooker instead of steaming but it will make more it mushy and need more bengal fried gram dal.
    Remove the outer skin and mash the banana well & keep it aside.
    In a mixer, add 1 finely chopped onion or 15 chopped shallot onions, 2 green chillies, ginger, 8 garlic cloves
    Add 2 cardamom, 1 cloves, small cinnamon stick
    Add 1 tsp Fennel seeds, 1 tsp Poppy seeds, 1/2 cup grated coconut, curry leaves, coriander leaves
    Grind it once without adding any water.Add the mashed banana to this & grind it again.
    Add 1 tsp red chilli powder, Salt & grind it again. No need to add water it will be in mushy consistency.
    Move it to a mixing bowl & add the grinded gram dal powder step by step & mix it well.
    After mixing the dal powder completely, apply some oil in the palm and make round shapes using the dough.
    I have made round shapes in the size of small goose berry. it will quickly fry in the oil.
    In a heated oil, put the Kofta and fry it till golden brown on all sides.Maintain medium flame throughout.
    Do not turn over using spatula straight away, allow one side to fry for 2 mins before turning it over.
    Once its fried till golden brown on all sides take it out of the oil. Crispy & delicious Raw banana kofta is ready.
