    What kind of thread did you use? Regular polyester?

    What measurements did you use, in centimeters?

    • @byktyrell
      @byktyrell  Před 4 lety +1

      The "minus 5" to 7" to make up for fabric stretch" are inches

    Hi can you share your exact measurements for reference.

    • @byktyrell
      @byktyrell  Před 3 lety +1

      My measurement was 18.5 inches for the circumference of my head and my length was 13 inches. *Keep in mind how much strength your fabric when making this yourself.

    On the pattern. Why "Cut on the fold" and what was the first white fabric that was cut/pinned for?

    • @byktyrell
      @byktyrell  Před 3 lety +1

      I think the "white frantic" your referring to is my pattern paper. And I cut the pattern on the fold to make the beanie thicker and warmer. The fold essential is the beanie's lining. Hope that helps. #sosew

      @@byktyrell So, really a template to make the right size? Probably necessary especially if you're making multiple beanies, I watched couples to get the fold now it makes total sense, thank you!!

      @@byktyrell having trouble finding the right ribbed knit fabric, what is it called?

    • @byktyrell
      @byktyrell  Před 3 lety

      @@Bfixico that's odd that name is just rib knit is the type of fabric I used a chunky rib knit similar to this www.etsy.com/listing/525213878/neotrims-chunky-fat-rib-stretch-knit-rib
