I am a 30 year old female. I found out that because of va not fixing nerve problem in my back. I am going to lose below the knee left leg and foot.( I have lost all feeling below my left knee in 2009. From a fall in the military)

did you learn to walk for a long time?
I don't know if this helps you but my pacients differ greatly on the time they learn to walk. All of the ones that learn fast are the ones that actually want to walk and are trying. My younger pacients are leaving on their prostethic limb.

Ottobock is very costly..within a year my mother's silicon liner has torn ..the vaccuum lock has broken. The cost of replacement is approx 60k for these 2 items. Originally the leg costed approx 3 lakhs. I would not suggest anyone to go for ottobock unless they have loads of money for after sales service.
