@igorrafael7429 not really, the 3070 still has more Cuda Cores than the 4060 and 4060 Ti. End of the day, it is the core count that matters. Therefore it will perform about as equal as the 4060 Ti.

Used a 1070 for my older brother's rig, paired with an i5 9500 system i got for cheap (84€ total, came with a 500gb SSD). He mainly plays f2p games and MMOs, so it's more than enough for him. He's quite happy with it after a few months and can fully utilize his 1440p 75hz monitor whereas it was paired with a laptop sporting an mx150 before. Unfortunately were were in a bit of a hurry to make the build since we needed to ship it to his place before he returned home to match the timings. So I ended up paying 105€ (90+15 for postage) for a Gainward Golden Sample, honestly not too terrible since it has a zero rpm mode.
Absolutely loved my 1070. 🙌 I was one of those you mentioned playing CS:GO everyday lol. upgraded from a 1070ti to a 4070 OC few months ago. I installed it onto my dad's rig so it can continue it's legacy haha 😂

I got this back in 2016 and it felt like an absolute beast. Played Witcher 3 and it was a big upgrade over my Radeon 280X. According to techpoweredup exactly 100% more performance.
It's doing well ofcourse but I'm sure so many people don't aware of that tool just because Kryzzp don't use it here in this channel but the thing is maybe Kryzzp's already know that but he can't spare extra time for those additional benchmarks
@@HypeXtra It can use AI for upscaling, so it can be a better choice when the FSR implementation is particularly bad. It's also much faster than XeSS and has frame gen, like AFMF.
I've had a 1070 ti for about a year now and every single game I've ever played has had no issues with this GPU. The games I've played so far are GTA, CS, Elden Ring, R6, For Honor, Rocket League, War Thunder, Ghost Recon Breakpoint and I'm about to start apex as well. Every single game I've listed has had no issues on the highest settings. GPU still has plenty of life in it.

Still using my GTX 1080 (Gigabyte WF3 OC8), but when the fans failed on it, I tried two things. Replacement fan from Amazon, worked but ran high temperatures all the time. So, went with aftermarket cooler Morpheus brand and two Noctua 120mm fans with a splitter. The cooler came with heatsinks and pads with sticky thermal pads. Temperatures are never higher than low 50s DEG C now. This was in my 4790k / DDR3 1866 / SATA3 SSD (850 Pro) setup. One month ago, migrated to 12400F / DDR5 6000 / NVme SSD (980 Pro) and kept the same GPU. Since I am doing 1080p, this is more than sufficient for my needs. Unless it melts / fails / etc., I will keep on using this GTX 1080. Nothing seems to slow it down, not like older tech GPU/CPU combos and same resolution.

this graphic card was the real bargain back in the days when xx70 series was sort of affordable and was considered high tier. 1080 Being very high end and titan was just crazy for the richest people. But yep basically between 350/425€ back in the days you could run anything with maximum setting. Now you just cry at 1080p trying to get 60fps using dlss with what is supposed to be low tier and low budget like 150/200€ back in the day, but now it's more than double the price.
Great video dude! I have to say though that cpu is defo helping here at 1080. I'd have to say with a 3600 or 5600 frame gen would be the way to go for most. It's nice to see though that a 1070 can still rock!
I'm still using my EVGA GTX 1070 Hybrid and it works fine for most of the games I play. It does slow down quite a bit with the remastered Crysis games but I do have the settings set to high. Now to try it with Wukong. I'm amazed at how much this particular card is selling for on the used market. Close to and sometimes higher than what I paid new.
Got GTX 1070 for about 85 bucks last month and i love it! On default setting i can get 8770 points in Unigine Superposition. After undervolting to 900mV and 1910MHz, i got almost 9200 points. Currently stay at 825mv and 1750MHz to get close to base score, but i get lower power consumption at 125W max.
Just replaced my gtx 1070 with rx 6700 xt. Been using gtx 1070 since 2018, such a solid card. Suprisingly still a popular choice, just sold it after 5 mins put it online.
You can find these for $50-60 in my area on the 2nd hand market. For that price they're very difficult to beat when you want to build a gaming PC on a tight budget of $250-300. Id also suggest 1080's which can be had for $20 more if youre patient enough.

after 7 years of using a gtx 1070, finally upgraded to a 4080 super the 1070 definately did me justice but its time to move on hopefully my 4080S will last me another 7 years too haha
Both my laptop (which I still use to game every day) and my desktop (which is not used very much any more) have a GTX1070 in them. Although both are showing their age, these cards still manage fine for 1080p. An upgrade isn't too far away though.
Would love to see more of ARK Survival Ascended in your tests AFTER their release of Sept. update with the new map. Right now the game is broken on lower end GPUs. I have a RTX 3070ti and it gets 23 FPS (lowest settings) during the early morning (5am in game time).

Surprisingly the 1070 still can do it. The relatively high amount of VRAM of 8GB back then is still adequate right now.

8 GB VRAM + upscaling techs means it's sticking around far longer than it should.
Future games what only have ray traced lighting will kill 10 series unfortunely

Bring a test with the RX 7700 XT in Horizon Forbidden West. For me, yours is the best testing methodology in games.
It would be interesting if you could take the opportunity to compare AFMF with native FG since a more recent version has been released for it.
