My 10 potted plumeria cuttings did not root. I let the cut ends dry. Applied rooting hormone. Put each into a 8 oz empty plastic water bottle planter, placed them in a south facing window. Waited a month but no roots formed. Today i inspected them, each one had decayed stem above the cut. So i cut off the decay, treated appropriately, and will let the cut calous or harden over again. Do not leave the plumeria cuttings in any amount of "excessive" moisture. Also only start cuttings in the spring.
Mine has been trying to root for close to five months. I went to pull the cutting out of the soil today to see if there were roots and it seemed to be stuck in the pot. I hope that means it has roots growing on it. Now it is almost April. Let’s see if anything happens in the next couple weeks.😮
