- Join us as we head to our first travelling fun fair since 2020, at Whyndyke Farm in Blackpool!
Theo is BACK once again on the channel and where better than our local fun fair, in our home town doing what he does best! For anyone who doesn't really know who Theo is, he is my 6 year old son who has featured on the channel since the age of 4! His presence and his ride ability brings together the family channel, that we are.
This fair is hosted by Carousel Fun Fairs, who partake on this very ground annually. There line up consists of Waltzer, Superbob, Fun House, Ghost Train, Star Flyer, Miami, Caterpillar Coaster, Dodgems and LOTS of juvenile rides, great for families alike!
Details of this Fair are as follow;
Opens each day (weather permitting) from Friday 16th April until Monday 3rd May 2021
Opening Weekdays 5.30pm until 8.30pm and weekends & BH Monday 1pm- 830pm
Rides are generally 2 tickets and family bundles can be bought at £20 for 25 tickets (roughly £1.60 per ride). Cash AND Card accepted.
Wristband sessions ONLY on Tuesday and Wednesdays (5.30pm-8.30pm) £8.99 pp
The Fair is located next to J4 of M55 motorway and there is FREE PARKING.
Covid protocols in place, such as regular cleaning and sanitisation stations. Masks are adviced to be worn on rides, so please take one. We wore masks on rides where other people rode at the same time as us.
Height restrictions apply on rides. 1.2m for Miami being the highest example.
Please note we asked permission to film for this event- however they generally let you take photos or film anyway. Please be cautious doing this. We strongly suggest you don't use your phone on rides.

Yeah, I've heard the cycles are short at Alton, which takes the sheen off the whole fair ride aspect... but at least they are out 🙂

Yes it is Demon chase, I know it well, too well to be fooled. I rode it for the first time at southport new pleasureland when that very first opened. It was Demon chase back then and always will be for me.
Yeah... but as Blizzard, not Demon Chase... noticed it was at Winsford Salt Fair... saw it on the thumbnail of the video lol
That looks like a very smart waltzer. I bet that fair is heaving at weekends what with tourists going to it as well.
