can we please get a shirt that says “the rotation of the earth is caused by boosted LS motors” i love that quote
He said "your going to encounter resistance with the rubber when you push it in". After talking about pulling out. I'm Rolling 😂😂😂😂
Dude, I identify so much with your life-mottoes...
"Every day strive to be better than you were the day before."
"If it's worth doing it's worth overdoing."
Please keep being real in your videos. It's rare to find people who are real IRL, nevermind on social media. I respect the hell out of you for that.
Thanks man. I’m just me and always will be. Living in my head..always chewing on something. Trying to figure myself out a little more every day. As time goes on I’ll integrate more of that perspective into videos!
@@Stapleton42 how the hell do you keep your cool when a project does not want to go as planned?
Probably the only time I use this phrase is when wiring...."Pull Out Game Is Strong" 😎
"If you can read and choose to read" there is nothing more true than that.. I love all your videos you create they are both educational and entertaining. ty
This vid brought back some good memories....I remember how nervous I was messing with pins and plugs converting an 87 Fox to mass air, it was literally one of the easiest things I done for the build. Just gotta take your time, check twice, cut once and of course..."If they wanted you to move the brown and white wire, it would say brown and white, not brown" Hahahaha! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻
Dylan watches your videos and just knows what your next day of work would include. Can't wait to see Uncle Rob vs. Your mom's mattress...
This was hands down one of the best videos I've watched explaining how to re pin connectors!
Paper clips? Never knew my dad, but my Grandad is the one who taught me to use my brain for figuring out how to fix or make something to get the job done! I miss that man, he is a major part of who I am to this day.😷😇👍
Just wanted to share this tip . Hit the salvage yard and find you a torsion bar off another gmc . They make the best prybars ever. You can shift around a full DRIVETRAIN with all the leverage and it will not bent. Also I wondered 🤔 how many folks watch the videos while taking a 💩. Saw someone's comment that they we're.
I knew I couldn't be the only one lol😅
Me: doing nothing
Stapleton42: posts a video
Me: must watch now
Me: working on customers car...
Stapleton42: uploads video
Me: Sir I have to go get parts be back in 40min (sits in my truck down the street to watch) 😅
Can't wait to see Uncle Rob run at the people's track it's going to be awesome!!!!
I’ve got big respect for good graphic designers like Jacob. Graphic designing is really hard to figure out how to make it look nice and clean
You and Dylan on the same wavelength,
I have that with my little brother . Great knowledge on this
I often get asked how I decide when to have a slow pace day In the shop. I don’t decide the shop decides after it kicks my ass! Soon as they open these boarders grandma the turbo expedition is coming for uncle rob 💪🏻 full size throw down 👌
cant wait to see you run it at the track again
She is getting really great at helping you. Plus, chicks read directions way better.
Pull the Pin! It Ain’t a sin! Never be afraid to mess with wiring, it’s how you learn. Thanks for showing it all.
Another way to do a continuity or ohms test, you could strip out the two wires you cut under the truck and wire nut them together and then test the two pins up top, when the tester rings you have your two wires, that’s how we find wires in houses when we are trouble shooting circuits.
I always have your videos playing in the background in my garage in London always making me laugh....and we don't even has the cars over here lol...peace
Thanks man we appreciate you! The rolls series will be more relevant to you 🤟🏻
The Journey makes the Destination
It's cool to see you doing things the right way, I hate working on cars where someone has a rats nest of wiring. I have all my nitrous solenoids and wideband run to empty slots on the factory fuse box.
Just got a message my phone hasn’t been backed up in 69 days and saws got a new video
Ughhh I wish I was a bigger channel, this is how I did the Envoy when I swapped it to 80e. Was super easy and so much better because you get to know your truck that much closer. Already miss truck 😭😭😭😭
Love this build bud, great content I always check out your videos as soon as I can.
Just ordered my GM inspired SAW shirt. My transmission destroyer shirt has sparked a lot of conversations with people who I've never met before and probably never would've talked to. Thank you!!
i agree with the final project lol ; i been doing this for 45 years , the end result is the fun of it :)
Man you 2 are doing a great job.. I can't wait to see the final results... EXCITEMENT!!!😁👍👍
I find all your content interesting because it is always changing never know where your going to end up. Keep up the great vlog!
Keep up the good content! Your videos inspire me to not only to work on my yukon but give me hope to be successful in the process!
Hell yeah 😎 boosted ls makes the world go round
I love the knowledge and in depth nitty gritty details in these videos. Keep up the tech videos too! Im planning to take on an LS /4L80 swap soon, and these videos definitely give me a sense of comfort that im not in over my head! Keep up the peoples track vids too😂 Prime content!
Love the videos. Catching up in a mini marathon. Drove out of state and got behind.
Awesome time saving wire hack!
Great vids Mitchell.
Do it!
"Just kinda stick it in, gonna encounter a little resistance from the rubber... and boom you come on the other side"😆
Perfect timing, just got home and had to poop something awful. Enjoying this install and all the info, can't wait for testing and hopefully Yellow Belly rips.
Can’t wait to see uncle rob make a rip! Been loving the content! Keep up the great work. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
I couldn't agree more with u on bettering urself everyday or being better than u were the day before. That's what I live by everyday. Love the videos bc I learn something everytime I watch. Appreciate ya keepin it real lol. Btw, maybe have a shirt with the well known "people's track" racers,....Troy, ur mom's matress, home depot, maybe a single mom in there somewhere hahahahaha
They make super cool little pin tools. They work really really well
Dude, Rob is Getting so close! I have been enjoying this series alot. Excited for the next page of your channel!!
I think your videos are entertaining and informative! I just got an 01 rcsb 4.3, with the plan to build my budget ls single turbo build on the side then just swap it in. Uncle robs 4l80e swap is perfect timing!!! Keep it up! Tell Candyman to give everyone the zl1 candy sauce!
Hey Brother look forward to your stuff. Life is a total (S) show now but I look forward to your stuff. I’ve done it years before you but sorta living through you again. Stay strong and safe. Keep up the work it will pay off young Man I promise. Nothing in life is free!!!
Great shirts.
The happy face note and the 777 sticker bonus. Thank you.
Awesome videos love watching them .
@diggin_z71 is a badass. He's the reason I'm here.
Thank you for the larger shirts bought one and is on the way. Thanks again
Love all type of content you make but this learning content is cool. I may not be a super hands-on mechanic guy but I'll be aware whenever I visit a shop to fix my "baby"
From watching the last 3 videos of Uncle Rob build to this one, your facial expression looks like your just about done even looking at the yukon! Word of advise for the tall man under a vehicle on a lift, get one of the rolling chairs from the office! Save your head and back from getting thrashed and banged up!!! Im down for 2 weeks every time i work on my truck now! Use that office chair! Your back and head will thank me 20 years from now!
I love the content as always keep it real
Nice usage of a ohm meter and mates tips, makes a better job when u can reutilise cables in harnesses 👍👍
I think It’s cool you dont skip things like the wireing👌🏽.Not like some other CZcamsrs that be like „Oh now we put the transmission in“
than „Oh look now we driving it“
Thats what i like about your videos you show the whole process.
Very informative great video my friend. 😎🏁🇨🇦
Good job bro you definitely seem like you can work on a car/truck not like other people who hire a personal mechanic for everything so good job bro and keep up the hard work!!
Hey man. I personally really enjoy these videos as much as the People's Track ones. Been having a rough time lately, so thanks for the inspiration to get under my car, take my mind off of things, and make some progress. My goal is to get the front wheels off the ground, so I've got my work cut out
I’m telling you a rusty jones uncle Rob shirt would be awesome.
Sometimes I am a smart man. But I am ALWAYS a Florida man.
Hey, that sensor you added goes up front haha. It’s the ISS on the front of the case. You’ll reuse your existing tcase plug for the VSS. It shouldn’t need to be touched.
Probably wont ever use this knowledge but I am here to help support the content! Waiting for that big block hopefully blasting through some boomtubes.
Any and all details man, its all great content...
Great work as always. A set of Pin keys and are cheap. They are a game changer for doing this type of stuff. ✌️🦅🇺🇸
Very informative especially on using the o2 sensor wires
i have 800 hp in a 07 tahoe 5.3 , all fuel , goes pretty good ... still has single exhaust out the rear , just open the gate when i need it lol , bought it new , been a hell ride most of the time , finally dialed in about 2 years ago ....very strong :)
As soon as I saw it I had to click on it love this build and love learning how to do this stuff
Love being able to be apart of the uncle rob build a few more weeks until i can start building my new race car you got me back in the mood to build and race again
Also if i get a chance to get down to texas would love to wrench with you one day
Too funny! You put Logan on spot of CZcams. Nexttime she not only gonna have that driver side head light out she's put in like an real Pro! LMFAO!
Mitchell, i propose an idea, make a video sitting down with Logan telling her and us the full story of the escalade and ralph. I know you said a while back that your dad got the escalade for you because it was safe but id love to know the full story on how you built it without him knowing and how you now own a $80,000 car lmao. And also how you found Ralph i feel like theres a good story to that one!
@@Stapleton42 Oh... ok lmfaooooo i guess i need to dive into all your old stuff and see what ive missed lol
Thanks for the props for dealer techs. We're pretty smart fellers, especially the grizzled ones. Good dealer techs modify and fix at the same time all day. The good ones follow instructions unless they're dumb.
Im looking forward to you rising to the top of the youtube leaderboards stapleton numero uno?
I know what you mean about trying to make it better. I blew the ringlands on my 4x4 f150 (supercharged gen 3 coyote) and just got it back on the road with forged Pistons and rods. #transfercasegang haha
Forgot to add a note but just ordered a hoodie to go with my intercooler shirt. Can't wait to see these projects become real working machines, keep it rollin dude
Great video it's always fun learning something new. Just FYI a couple of companies make tools for depinning
That was a good tip about using the O2 wires, they did all the hard work already of routing and looming. Suck it Cole!
niiice can’t wait to see it at the people’s track 😁✌🏻
love the content, keep it up!
I remember when you were wondering how you would find your audience bro, I think you have found it and you are doing a great job. Thanks for the hard work you put into the videos. Hope you and Logan are doing great.
Logan: "Looks like it's gonna catch on fire!"
You: Yeah, pretty standard. You'll have that on a job like these.
Lmao - Real life knowledge for sure
Hey man super good information.... so you should look into some solder filled heat shrink connectors they are a game changer...... they are the only way I will splice wires together
Man I'm confused AF! LOL I'm not gonna finish this one right now but I gave it a like and I'm commenting so there ya go bruh!
Stapleton we need a new video. Also great content last few months. I learn just like you. Gotta do it myself
Thanks 🙏🏽 trying to look for a 4l80e now 🥲
T-shirt idea!? Taco bets, People's track and them damn Portrait Modes!!
logan saved the day by reading the instructions.
I was just starting to wonder if your helper was gonna show up and BAM there she is lol 😆
hey brother what you said at the 37 min mark is 100% true, we do it for the reward of the result =D but also we hate having to dive into a setup all the time!
Informative as always man... T shirt wise.. Uncle Rob at yello belly, with top flight Craig next to captain caulk, little John doing track prep, maybe Troy Polamalu and his dog somewhere, just all the belly things really 🙏🏻 #69 out..
Electronic spaghetti is what I do for a living, It may be in a pinball but same shit different smell. Love ya work guys ❤
Keep posting I'll keep commenting. Love the content and the playful banter
Recognized him right away didnt know his name but definitely seen him in alot of videos
I think it would be awesome to have a shirt with all your vehicles lined up beside each in order of biggest to smallest
Let's go. Just got home from school
This Yukon with a turbo, 4l80, and overnight parts from summit will decimate all! The people at the peoples track better watch out 👀
Cant wait to see what the uncle Rob t-shirt looks like 🚌 💨
I think that your Dog would be epic on a shirt eye patch and all.
You've never seems this before!! Pulls out a pt.net doc thats been used by many. Busting chops and good work. I did 4l80 swap in a 4x4 02 Yukon. Almost like your work except I used a circle-d converter that needed no spacer with the flexplate.
When I said never seen before I am referring to the repurposing of the unused o2 sensor wires
@@Stapleton42 I said, busting chops!! I get you. Wiring in a wbo2, thermocouple, etc in the stock wiring harness are all possible. HP Tuners is great. No joke a cop rear ended my Yukon so now I have a 6.2 Yukon Denali. Worth the pain I think.
ROFLMAO !! She is gona kick your .....you know !! hehehehe .. favorite headlight !!!! Cool designer too !!
Fun fact: Today would have been Dale Earnhardt’s 70th birthday. I admire Dale not because it’s a “cool” thing to do these days...but because his life has been a constant inspiration of mine as to how to live. How to positively impact your surrounding world. How to do that so much that 20 years after you’re gone...people STILL are operating in the wake of forward influence and inspiration from your life. Just like I am today helping you guys with videos like these. I could make an entire video about this topic. The dent Dale left in this world is something that was and still is a critical building block for the person I am today. Today we remember the man for the life he lived...and strive to carry the legacy he left. Go all in on what you love. All the time 💪🏻
You can find the Goodwrench inspired SAW shirt here: stapletonautoworks.com
First day of 18 u natties on dales birthday 🤔
If Dale seen how Pussified this country has become, I think he would have really disliked this era.
Hell yeah dale was one of the most influential drivers of all time! You could say his name anywhere in the world and ppl will know who you are talking about all these years later
Raise hell and praise Dale ✌️😂
I got to sit in Dale's pits in Atlanta at a race before he died. It was pretty awesome. I have some cool pictures that I took from a disposable camera from that day. I was probably 17 or 18 at the time
