I think the person hugging the operator in that room was Margulis on the Zariman ten zero ship. If you look around the frame, you’ll notice its a bedroom with a view of a planet in the background so its mostly likely Margulis and the Zariman ship.
I love how the soundtrack gets mixed with the sentient sounds at the end of the trailer. It really makes you feel like the Lotus is still there in front of you, but not quite. I can't wait for the 15th to finally come.

Jeebus, i thought I had played much at about 1.5k hours. Haven't played in like 2 years, but reinstalled and finishing all new quests the next 2 weeks to be ready for the new war. Cause the main story of Warframe is so good. I wouldn't mind if they made a spin-off 60€ game that's completely focused on the story/lore.

Wait does Warframe actually have a proper story to it? I played it way back and quite after a couple of days because it was way too grindy and I had to wait like a day in order to progress. It felt like a mobile game honestly, the way they gated stuff.
Warframe currently has like 3 or 4 major story quest with cinematic content you can play through explaining a great deal of the in-game universe, only problem most of it is far into the later game. The New War has promised to be the biggest story focused content update yet and so far I'm inclined to believe it... of course, there is also a lot of lore in text and extra content but I don't count that as part of the proper story for players to experience.
It's still grindy. "A day to progress" I assume you're talking about the 24 hours it takes to build some weapons in the foundry? Still the same but there's so much content, that you don't notice it. While something is building you got tons of other stuff to do. Also you can rush things with plat (which you can get from other players, no need to pay, ever), but I don't do it 99% of the time.

They said that The New War update will have a HUGE expansion to the game overall, and that we only know tiny bits of what is coming

they have a very deep lore, but the way they tell the history is very hard to understand, but i like that way of storytelling tho
