ここんとこ、sorakiさんの動画ばっかり見ています。
アラフィフのおっさんですが、息子とカミさんと、ただただカッコイイ！の連呼。特にレッドブルのセミファイナル、ダイアナ・ロスには痺れた。色んなダンス、ダンサーさんを見ましたが、初めてダンスで震えて泣きました！本当に日本の至宝だと思います。

I got Ameba subscription to see whole story. His mom is such a great person. Also I'm impressed Soraki respects all people around him. His friend says that he doesn't want everyone to call Saraki just "talented" becasue he became "talented" thru unimaginable effort. Now I can understand why his dance is different from others.

I Am glad the American crowd and judges voted him the win. But it was not without its troubles. He was kicked by DaVinci, the group near the stage booed shouted insults. Glad he won over the drama because he is a joy to watch.

I am The D Soraki. I’m 19 yr old. I do dance. I’m dancer. Nice to meet you.
“Soraki” is my real name and “The D” is named by Niako who got first place at Juste Debout held in France. I joined his dance camp in Japan when I was higher grade of elementary school, and I showed off at camp, then he said "You are The D from now on."
I still don’t know the meaning of The D. He might like “One Piece” (Japanese cartoon), or maybe “The Dance”, I don’t know. Anyway, I liked it at that time and I just didn’t change it.
Dance Delight event
Hi Good afternoon. Thank you for coming. This is my partner, Yoshiki. Today we bust out our showcase.
Today’s event is dance contest which different from dance battle. It’s like M-1 in dance world. (M-1 is famous contest of 2 persons comedy act.)
This is very big event and if you get first place, you are guaranteed to live for a year. We participated last year for first time, and this year is 2nd time for us.
(Staff) Does this event have long history? (Soraki) Yes, this year is 28th so it’s been 28 years already.
At Waiting Room before Event
(Yoshiki) The reason why we are not in movie of introduction is because Soraki messed up. He didn’t stop singing “Oh Gi Mama” by DONGURIZU during interview although I was trying to answer seriously. And staff was fed up with Soraki.
(Soraki) I get nervous at DELIGHT. It doesn’t matter how big the stage is. I get nervous because I feel tensed atmosphere and everyone’s serious mind at back yard and it makes me serious. Then when I start thinking I need to be nervous, I'm getting the shakes.
We all take 2 or 3 months to prepare for this event, so we don’t want to waste our time and effort. That’s why I get nervous, I think. But I like this feeling of nervousness. I can say I participate DELIGHT to feel it.
After Dance
(Soraki) I want to get higher rank. But DELIGHT usually doesn’t give us what we want. (Yoshiki) Yes, we did what we could do, and we need to leave the result to judge.
(Yoshiki) Members of judge of DELIGHT are different every year. For example, judges of M-1 are same every year, but not DELIGHT.
(Soraki) The result depends on judge preference. If we dance to meet judge’s preference, it will be the dance which we are not satisfied with. So, it’s better to focus ourselves even though our dance is not accepted by judges.
(Staff) Did you get good response? (Soraki) Yes, I think I got more than double of the one in last year. This time performance was the best of Betray ever.

若き天才ダンサーと言ってるけど、ダンサーは断然、若い時の方が有利だし勝ちやすい。
まず時間がある。生活費も食費も親を頼れるからお金もある。体力もある。養う家族がいるわけでも、会社を背負ってるわけでもないから気持ちも楽。
むしろ、ベテランになって大人になるにつれ、働きつつ、お金を稼ぎつつ、いろんなプレッシャーや責任背負って踊らなくちゃならなくなるから、大人で活躍する方が難しい。
