All of them in the sovanna group are ex pets.
They use them as babies for views. Once they lose their cuteness they dump them.
It is no different than the thousands of dogs and cats people abandon.saying they are animals and can take care of themselves but the domesticated animals have no.trainnimg like these monkeys and they starve and get killed because they have no idea of what to do. It would be far kinder to put them to sleep rather than let them.die slowly in pain..

That’s not a smile Candy is grimacing to show she is scared but not a threat. This is one of the saddest cases I have watched and can’t believe the VO’s helped her sometimes but did not save her from being severely beaten and her eventual death. Candy had zero survival skills and was used to just sitting there and eventually getting fed. Her name used to be rosa, you can look her up. Bottle fed, never able to cling to anything except a towel that she grew an attatchment to, and never interacted with any other monkeys. She had zero monkey social skills and after she was abandoned here, would regularly walk over and slowly take food from monkeys mouths as they were eating. That will get you killed in monkey world. She also had horrific clinging tendencies and had no clue how to read danger. So when food got tight during the lockdown, she got disembowled and paralyzed, probably from a big monkey. Most think it was Sankra, a local male known for attacking other monkeys he saw as competitors for resources. There was a video of her on the ground on a trash bag using her front legs to drag her paralyzed back half around, screaming with her intestines hanging out. They took her to the rescue clinic where she was confirmed dead a couple days later.

Some videos you can see them running and they're sh*tting or p*ssing the entire way. I've never seen other animals that do that. Most animals will actually get up and do their "business" elsewhere....not macaques.

To what she was possibly taught as a pet I'd not know..other comments suggest that she most likely has had some form of bipedal traning. I've also read in comments her previous name was baby monkey "Wicky"..
@@justpassingthrough9887 monkeys walk on two legs for all sorts of reasons and they instinctively know how to do it, bipedal training works by getting them to stop walking on all fours rather than specifically teaching them to walk on two legs

This one was dropped off another camp. It got immediately bitten in her private parts and there was a cameraman right there who chanced the bigger monkey away however the cameraman stepped over this monkey in the process by mistake, probably broke a finger because she keeps touching the hand
