    Very informative, thanks Sir!
    I have 2 questions -
    1. If a person has sold a residential plot and also shares (both long term assets) can one buy one residential property to claim tax exemptions under section 54f on both?
    2. If someone has LTCG on 10 share scrips, can he claim 54f exemption on ltcg of 2 selected scrips. And pay tax on rest?
    Thanks,

I am a 70 years old senior citizen.I have purchased 6 decimals of land in the year 1990 by Rs.45,000.Now I want sell the plot for typical financial crisis. The customer will pay me hardly 5 lakhs. But the circle rate of the plot is now 25 lakhs. Nobody wants to pay more than 5 lakhs for that plot. I am agreed to sale for Rs.5 lakhs. But if I sell it at 5 lakhs, the full amount I will have to pay as capital gain tax. How can I sell the plot so that the money I can use for my personal use? Please give your kind suggestion.

I am 70 years old senior citizen. I have purchased a residential plot of 6 decimals in 1990 by Rs.45,000. Now the circle value of that plot is Rs.25 lakhs. I want to transfer the land to my only son, aged 25 years, who has no income, through a gift deed. Now I want to know if I or my son will be liable to pay any income-tax for the transfer of that land by gift deed? Please give me a reply.

No , you won't be liable to pay tax becoz you are transferring your property in will (inheritance). And your Son also won't be liable to pay tax but if he further transfers that property to any 3rd person then he will be liable to pay tax .
After considering many provision of Income tax Act I am consulting you.
      Thank you 💕

first of all thanks for the detailed video!
    I have a small doubt
I will be taking a residential property this year(lets say by Oct 2024). Let's say i have 30Lakh Equity investment with present value as 45 lakh. If I book this profit now, where do i need to keep this money? Can I sell the equity now, and keep this under my Demat account? or do i first need to open a long term capital gain account and move the money there right after selling the equity??
    Please guide.
