  • “We are somewhat disappointed that Melly is not walking out the door with us,” Stuart Adelstein told the Law&Crime Network’s Terri Austin after the judge declared a mistrial in YNW Melly’s double murder trial. The Florida rapper is accused of murdering his two best friends in 2018. Melly’s defense attorneys could not comment further about plans to get him out of jail on bond or their team’s next steps.

Was no proper trial. Lawyers get nothing, job is not done.

@@deltalima6703that’s so not true. It depends on the pay agreement but most often they will get paid no matter what the verdict is even mistrial. That really only happens in civil cases like injury cases where the lawyer gets a cut.

I have to say this the last we may here about this case from Public media sites do to mis trial the state don’t wanna taint the new jury because being that this case was widely publicized may be hard to find another impartial jury if I was the defense team I’ll produce the numbers Law & Crime to the judge and say these numbers show it will be hard to find a impartial jury
