- “We are somewhat disappointed that Melly is not walking out the door with us,” Stuart Adelstein told the Law&Crime Network’s Terri Austin after the judge declared a mistrial in YNW Melly’s double murder trial. The Florida rapper is accused of murdering his two best friends in 2018. Melly’s defense attorneys could not comment further about plans to get him out of jail on bond or their team’s next steps.

The way this judge handled this case was impartial & unbiased. as it should be. compared to other judges i have seen, i would say this judge is the most professional.
You don't know what you're talking about, or you haven't seen many trials. Likely this got your attention because of the person on trial. There are many of judges that are all like this. They don't get in their position on accident.
Yes, he was the most professional Judge I have seen in a good little min.

These lawyers were really good I have to give them props. The judge was great too.
All around lawyers and judge seemed competent and about on par. The defense was great in the beginning and prosecution did well at the end.
They were not good at all. They could not debunk or refute any evidence. They only tried to cast doubt in the minds of the juror. Well, I take that back. They did a good in casting doubt. They just never debunked or refuted the evidence.

"They hung in there"...a whole day of deliberating ffs. Seems like the jury was incompetent or just wanted to go home Or both. After jury asked to listen to witness testimony, for a witness that didnt even exist and was never mentioned during the trial; I had ZERO confidence in them. I watched/listened to 95% of the whole trial online and knew that🤦🏻♀️
If they jury asked for something not even mentioned in the trial, that's a huge red flag in regard to not paying attn to media
It’s very hard being a juror especially a double murder trial. I was a juror only heard 3 days of testimony and it’s hard to sit take notes all morning and afternoon , it’s easy to say you could from the comfort of home but sitting in uncomfortable chairs all day taking notes it’s tough and like defense said the state presented a smoke screen and put in so much stuff as evidence that wasn’t needed.
All the disruptions and breaks were just distractions.
The jury was incompetent, how awful.
Ah the classic armchair quarterback, easy for you to say
Lets all call it what it is, the prosecution blew it, and the jurors wanted to go TF home!!!!
Not really if anything it’s really the opposite. Jurors usually vote guilty if they just wanna get tf outta there. The notes and reports about them being visibly upset with one another shows there was a split for some set on guilty and some others not changing their stand from not guilty. One side wouldn’t budge. We probably will find out.
No. One or more of the jurors was biased to find him innocent. Or totally incompetent

Technically, murder trials usually have a second phase after conviction, where the jurors vote whether the defendant deserves life in prison without parole, or the death penalty. Even if convicted of murder, other defendants have convinced a jury to give them life

Evidence was there, just poor execution on prosecution. The lawyers did their job. Everyone has a right to an attorney and a fair trail. Me personally couldn’t defend someone knowing they did it. Tough job
That’s why lawyers never ask their client if they’re guilty. It’s unethical to lie to the court.
Could you prosecute someone you knew was innocent? I would defend a million criminals before I prosecuted an innocent man. Everyone deserves defense, nothing immoral about providing that
No weopon.. no DNA.. there is no chance the defense ever wins this case unless they get one of those 2 things
