As someone who grew up watching MMPR as a kid, I do not want to see a female red ranger, if they keep removing the original components of the original show that people fell in love with then this is going to fail again like the 2017 movie. They just don’t listen. What’s wrong with casting a white male Jock to play Jason the red ranger and leader, and Asian female tomboy to play Trini, a cool black extroverted male to play Zack the black ranger, a cute white bubbly female to play Kimberly the pink ranger, and an white male nerd to play the intelligent Billy the blue ranger. You gotta hit nostalgia right and power rangers is not something to experiment with. Never cared for the zords back then and don’t care for them now. They still have not learned their lesson from that 2017 movie.

I disagree with the suit being the reason. The Zords designs were horrible. Reminded me of Michael Bay transformers. And WTF was GoldDar? To me, the script was trash. It was woke once they had that campfire part where Kimberly was suppose to be gay. They need the guy who designed Cybertron War in the BumbleBee movie to do the power Rangers design for the Zords and Suits. That shit was fire. They did that shit accurately to a T.

You know that a true Power Ranger fan knows that the very first Red Ranger leader was a female before Jason became The Red Ranger. So saying that a female being a leader and as a Red Ranger is stupid, it's not stupid it'll be awesome because a story line that follows the comic book series. Plus the very first Black Rager was a female and the very first Pink Ranger was a male. Same for the first Yellow Ranger being a male. Sadly the the first Power Ranger team when all that happen, had no experience of being a Power Ranger and fought the Green Psycho Ranger on the moon. The only two that came back to earth was the Red Ranger and the Yellow Ranger, the other three die during the the battle because they didn't fight as a team
