@@ek9397 That's irrelevant. Sam has never equated being female with wearing heels with just having clothes. Someone close to me is non-binary. Find someone who you can speak to and learn what it means, how profound the inner feelings are, the sense of a second identity. Coming out as Sam has isn't done this lightly.

1) my point stands that y’all are confusing gender with personality traits. Gender stereotypes are socially constructed, but gender is not. You’re either male or female, and that’s a FACT that you can’t avoid.
2) being gay, bi etc is completely different matter. You physically cannot help who you fall in love with. love is love. But you cannot ignore your ACTUAL gender (male or female), just as you cannot ignore your sexuality.
3) the majority of y’all are so entitled and narcissistic with a sense of ‘victimhood’ it’s off putting. Thinking you deserve special treatment and that society should alter everything to cater to you. Our language, our toilets, everything. It’s selfish af.
4) in conclusion these labels were created to make people who do not fit gender STEREOTYPES feel valid. The reality is that you cannot change your gender. No one will ever change my mind on this

They are non binary. It’s similar to how some people are born as a male but are actually female. For example I was born as a female when I am actually a male. It’s when your gender identity does not line up with your biological sex. Your sex is what your genitals define you as. However your gender identity is how you would like to be addressed and how you feel. For example, I have female body parts (for now 😆) but I feel like a guy, “want” to be a guy and IDENTIFY as a guy. Just because you are born as a specific sex does not mean you are that gender. Sam was born as a male however they identify as non binary. Hope this helped!

They’re non binary
hakata fukuoka it’s quite simple. “Binary” refers to identifying as female or male, however non binary is when one identifies as both, neither or another gender. When someone is non binary they may have different pronouns than he/she. For example, Sam Smith is non binary and prefers the pronouns they/them! 😄 If you just google “non binary” then you will find many resources to learn more.
If confused as to how someone can not identify as male or female, then don’t worry as it’s something not many people are educated on! It’s similar to how a transgender male or female person experiences dysphoria when doing something similar to their assigned gender at birth. For example a man who was assigned as female at birth (ftm, transgender male) may experience dysphoria when participating in feminine activities or even things such as showering. They may not like makeup, but some do since cisgender males can like makeup too, and they may feel uncomfortable having female body parts. Non binary people experience dysphoria too, just to their gender rather than the opposite sex.
