Shit is hilarious I keep rewinding it just to hear his laugh 😂
It's good to see real laughter. People on TV I notice tend to take laugh and I've always wondered why.
It's forced
Dying, and nearly dying, from laughter is a real thing and I'm most certain that to Zack the image of porkys butth0le was just the thing to trigger such an episode, while many people watching this video also experienced the phenomena having been triggered by Zack.
Mike Judge is waaaay to under rated. He’s so talented.
Hell yeah, that "Tales From The Tour Bus" has become my favorite show of his. Even moreover than "KOTH". I wish they made more seasons.

Yeah I'm cool with that
I would be honored.
I would love that!
I don't think Mike Judge realised how funny this was until he had Zach Galifianakis wheezing with laughter
Of course he did - he created an entire character out of the guy!
as if that laughter wasn’t rehearsed. nothing feels genuine anymore
Mike Judge is a very reserved guy in interviews so that might just be why
That's not what he was talking about pam... job showing your stupidity
That hack (Zach) was attention seeking with that obnoxious fake laugh.
Growing up in NYC I always thought Boomhauer's voice was just some stereotype but then I joined the US Army and was proven wrong.

Mike judge is a genius. He lampooned my generation raw with beavis and butthead, king of the hill was amazing, idiocracy and office space are legendary.
I'm quite partial to Extract, myself.
Don't forget Silicon Valley! It's so on the nose, I'm rewatching it for like the third time.
And he hit small town Texas right on the head. It couldn't be more accurate. But what makes it so brilliant is that it's hilarious and satirical without being mean or snide. That's a rare kind of comedy and it's hard to pull off.
Can’t believe, he was former President Obama roommate tho😮
silicon valley was awesome too
Mike's normal speaking voice smooth like butter, the easy slip into character, and Zach wheezing uncontrollably. And Jimmy just lets it roll out organically. Perfect.
other late night jimmy: talks over mike, repeats "porky's butthole" to try to get his own laugh out of it, tries to do his own boomhauer impression before mike is even finished doing boomhauer.

Mike Judge NEEDS to release that voice message.

My uncle had a friend who had never seen the show that talked like him, he recently passed on. He was such a nice guy but you could never understand him.
dang 'ole.. rest in peace man.
That man was my uncle! Helluva guy. Quit school to go to work drilling oil. Went to Korea. Stated his own business. Was a fixture in the small town. Worked every day. Loved animals more than a lot of people. Always made sure my mother's family had food and shoes when they were still in school.
Yeah, I knew a guy in Louisiana for about 11 or 12 years that had those same speech patterns, and he was real tough to understand. Imagine the same kind of delivery but with a Cajun accent in there, too. Man, it was hard to figure out what he was saying a lot of times.
Dang ol' sittin next to God man...
I knew a guy from Ballymena who not only sounded like the Northern Ireland version of Boomhauer, he looked like him too! And yes, you couldn't understand him. You would have needed a Universal translator from Star Trek to understand him!!
I never gave King Of The Hill a chance until a year after it ended. It's now my favorite animated series of all time and I regret missing all 13 years of it. Thankfully they played it on Adult Swim. The biggest mystery is how would Dale have reacted if he found out about Nancy's affair and Joseph's real father. There are many theories, but no one really knows. A lot of people believe that Dale has always known and feigned ignorance, either because he doesn't want to be like Bill or because being a better and truer dad to Joseph is the ultimate revenge. The only thing that tells me that he really didn't know is that episode where he mistook John Redcorn for a burglar and knocked him out. Once he realized it was Redcorn, he legitimately felt terrible and did everything he could to make it up to him.
I didn't get into it when I was a kid growing up on the east coast, but when I turned 18 I decided to move to Oklahoma (which is similar enough to the Texas/New Mexico thing Mike Judge did with KOTH and BnB)
And the show really started to grow on me. It started to make sense. It's not really like HAHAHA type humor, but there's definitely some more subtle humor in there, some wholesome moments, and the characters feel like real people.
And I'm pretty sure Dale never consciously figured out the Redcorn Connection because his mind was actively protecting itself by ignoring the obvious. Somebody as paranoid and well armed as Dale would have absolutely 💯 gone after Redcorn if he believed there was some weirdness like that going on. He just refused to see it.
It really falls on his wife, she might be getting "massages" and working out her "migraines" but it doesn't seem to make her happy, it's just a pattern she got into, and that episode where she "accidently" sleeps with her own husband shows a lot. One of the dirty little secrets of human sexuality is that women want 2 types of man at the same time, a stable provider as a husband and a big beefy bull as a sperm donor. They've dug up old cemeteries in Europe and tested the DNA, something like 25 percent of the kids turned out to have the wrong dude listed as their dad.
I know Dale's obliviousness is kind of the joke, but if you want my fan theory, that's what it is. He knows the truth on a deep level but he won't allow those thoughts to come into the front of his mind... because if it did, a guy like him might snap and take out all 3 of them, the kid, the wife, and the boyfriend.
He does seem to legitimately care about Joseph
@@booqueefious2230 I'm kinda glad the show decided to keep Dale in the dark, because it keeps us wondering what he'd do. From the writer's perspective, they probably felt that it would change his character too much if he ever found out, or acknowledged it
Just how his character is written it’s the ultimate irony of how paranoid And he believes all these conspiracy yet could never connect the dots about his son and Nancy even though it’s blatantly obvious.

When I was just a wide eyed 18 year old jack pine savage at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, we had a guy in our squad from Florida who looked and sounded just like Boomhauer. The usual melting pot of guys being in effect we had a guy from Hawaii, 2 from Rhode island a guy from southy etc. No one but me could make any sense of his accent. It was a constant laugh. He would look at me and ask me to relate something to them. I would frequently go off on a tangent and this guy would get mad and go on a tirade, which I then would interpret correctly. When provoked, he would spin a yarn of profanity that was laced with some of the funniest insulting observations I can ever recall hearing. One day, on the obstacle course he fell and twisted an ankle. The medics and instructors could not understand him. The senior drill sergeant came and got me to interpret. On the way to where they had him on a bench the d.i. said, I know you are going to want to have some fun with this, but do the right thing. I translated exactly my comrades frustrated answers to the medics inquiries. The first time I heard Boomhauer on king of the hill, I thought it had to be my buddy from boot camp. I still marvel at how much variation there is in American dialects.
Ty for you and your family's sacrifices and service. Where I live in Va there are multiple cities, towns side by side crossing into each other, and yes, there is a difference in the accents from one mile to the next. Nothing funnier when you're asked to interpret someone's Southern and all you can do is shrug lol
