The problem with an open plan is also the culture. Who is in the kitchen? The bedrooms are so small. I think that the house would be more expensive than you state. Ive seen these house designs online but Kenyan contractors charge an arm and a leg
Open plan kitchens with African homes are impractical. We cook large meals and we tend to store more farm produce. Think cabbages, nduma, pumpkins, ngwaci, etc. That storage space and working space is very limiting

Depends on location, size and finishes but an 8bedroom 200sqm house will be roughly 6million kshs assuming you don't go overboard on finishes
@@GeorgeKingori location is kilifi so the materials is cheap kama mawe etc..200 sqm house for an 8 bedroom is small coz I love big rooms, kitchen, lounges and a high end finishing

This looks really good but I doubt that you can build it with 2,5 M
why would it not be 2.5m..its only 84m2 and with most reasonable contracters quoating 28,000 to 30,000 per square metre it come to roughly that amount in total. Build it on your own and it will be cheaper
