As a Mage player I can totally relate playing against Druid. Every greedy card in the game Druid can abuse it ten fold throughrandom generation or having loads of mana to use.
As a druid main I resent that. We don't get..... well there's..... we can't abuse..... I resent that

I think mage is actually the only class that shouldn't complain about druid. It doesn't matter if he has 300 hp if you can have 9 turns in a row. If you were a demon hunter main, or a warrior main, or even a warlock main I could understand.

I’m literally right here with you. I’ve played this game since launch so I….don’t know how to NOT play it? Lol. That being said, every time I log on now, I’m hating life. Why is Guff not 8+ mana?
Guff 8 mana lol, should be better if they nerf ramp cards instead, his hero power included (empty mana cristal)

Druid just has all the tools... card draw, value, tutoring, board clears, and no shortage of board clears. Its not like you can Mutanus and Theotar them for game. Steal Denathrius? They can still have kazakusan. Eat Kazakusan? They just slam board after board of threats and stats that is nearly endless. Its just the fact they can abuse every overpowered effect that gets balanced by its cost. If you can just have infinte mana, you dont have to worry about cost.
The problem to me is that they can easily outvalue you in any situation. They ramp quickly, so they can get big boards earlier, and if you manage to somehow clear those board they can easily get back a new one and either way you're just fueling their Sire Denathrius, so you're just delaying the inevitable, and it's not like you can kill them fast because they have ways to easily gain armor. Add the 20 mana with Guff and the never ending army of 3/3 whelps with Rush and you have a class that is simply too powerful for other classes to compete properly, when you face Druid you have to pray that he gets the worst draws ever or else you'll die inevitably

Same. The amount of randomness in Hearthstone games like the discover mechanic was just to much RNG to be fun after a certain point.
Is Magic fun? Hard to learn?

@@lauramayfair7887 It's more involved, and there is random elements, such as not drawing lands when you need them, but overall it is a much healthier game imo.
There are issues with power in certain formats, but standard is generally pretty alright.
Magic Arena will help guide you through the basics, and the UI is pretty intuitive, in the game.
If you like it, check out the Commander varient, which I find the most satisfying.
@@Amghannam is the enjoyment from the unpredictable nature of the cards? Genuine question because if I just wanted my fate dictated solely by randomness, Id play blackjack. Additionally, the fact that everyone has the same resources on each turn is far more limiting in terms of the meta.

I struggled so much to reach legend because this class. I've found druid players 4 times ina row and went from diamond 1 to diamond 2 in less than 10 minutes

Yea Hearthstone is brutal right now! I tried some arena runs. Highest I got was 2 wins. Ladder is all top tier decks. So it's just Tavern Brawl and Battlegrounds left that are both fair and fun to play.

Ayo when you see brann pop out some crazy stuff is about to happen and he finagled it to one mana rip from the jump.
Guff should give empty mana crystals from heropower and Sire D should start from 0 or 2 damage.. Way too easy to combo him with Brann as druid.
I mean i dont wanna downplay how strong Druid is against non Aggro Decks but mage is also in a really strong Spot rn esp. With dawngrasp
every expansion druid has been toxic especially back then when there were no starfish... treant abuse -> glowfly abuse -> beast/taunt druid -> guff/celestial ramp druid -> and lately the most annoying token aggro druid along with ramp denathrius druid... I'm so sick of playing against druid because there has always been 2 different types of druid so it affects your prefered mulligans which might put u in a huge disadvantage before it has even started

Every game in hs wild is like this 😂 but sometimes with a ton of latency. When I get mad at a specific class *cough cough Mage* , and sometimes Priest- I run disruption. Nothing is more fun than watching a mage have to deal with Trogg Hunter running “can’t be targeted by spells or hero powers” and Eater of Secrets!
Idek what counters druid though?? Platebreakers, troggs, and mill?? I’m guessing..

I started getting back into hearthstone way back in the ungoro expansion and even then I felt that druid was too strong. The devs seem to love giving druid all the most overpowered nonsense in the game and rarely nerf any of it.
The only busted card in standard druid is Guff, the other cards are only good, I bet without guff druid would be 40% winrate

@@davidpachon8591 Cariel is the reason why Guff should be 10 because power level wise guff effect is way stronger. If druid doesn't draw guff is an absolute different game. It drops from tier 1 to tier 4 deck.

You wanna get more than 10 mana to play with? sure, I'm okay with that, play with 20 mana, but play it after you reach 10 mana first. 5 mana guff is not only about gaining 20 mana in the late game is just insane cheat card in the very early game. You have no sense and any idea how broken this card is. And I was talking about since the realese, but Blizz nerfs are bs, the reason behind it that's they can't balance druid, without Guff it's gonna be unplayable class, so they don't touch him on purpose.

How to fix hearthstone
1. Delete druid
2. Nerf quest hunter
3. Nerf Curse Lock

have to agree on 1 and 2 but curse lock is easily dealt with unless you're running super slow control deck that can't recover, you have to be super aggro or have a reliable healing source to beat curselock, druid is straight up bend over and bite the bullet
Being Druid with 10+ mana or Kaelthas for anyone to play Brann with Denathrius is combo bs. I love how minions are a thing again, also glad Mutanus and Theotar exist in Standard to counter combos. But if you don’t run disruption, don’t draw it, or miss…I hate seeing Brann + Denathrius. F druid mana and f kaelthas

As a Mage main, since the release of Hearthstone, I have wanted to pull my hair out every time I go up against a Druid.
And people say Guff doesn't need a nerf.
you dont. you just need to play 1 card druid is history. just put him into the etc. oh wait etc probably didn't exist the time when this video was made but the 6 mana guy who deletes all 1 mana spells does! especially now when he affects all spells that costs currently 1, not just spells that originally costed 1.

50% of the time I play my best deck(evolve Shaman f2p) I get rolled by druid, anytime I play any other deck I get rolled 80% of the time by druid this sucks :(

When you play mage, you dont have a right to complain. Mage has gotten a new broken archetype for the last two years. Each one of them was problematic and the community suffered while waiting for a balance patch.

Druid is like Tier 3 in standard. Meanwhile mage consistently has a Tier 1 deck every expansion. As a wild main, secret mage and quest mage are the worst parts of wild atm
