Synopsis:
Indian RAW agent “Pathaan” (Shah Rukh Khan) gets to know of a major impending attack against India, mounted by a mercenary group led by the ruthless enigma Jim (John Abraham), who has a history of his own.
With the doomsday clock ticking away and an agent Rubai (Deepika Padukone) his only possible ally, Pathaan must fight countless betrayals and deal with destruction as he takes on Jim.

One thing I love about Vishal Shekhar is that even their fast numbers have melody - it's not just mindless use of percussion and bass. They've let the song breathe - it's not just one single tempo throughout.
Nothing like the lilting melodies of yesteryear but I guess yeah this still has a melody and not just percussive, and it’s catchy. Visuals are so common like all Hindi movies in the last decade; it could have been prettier to go with the nice melody,

It is a single tempo throughout. They change the drums in places and the pitch in the end. The point I want to make however is that Vishal Shekhar have deteriorated very much compared to their previous years. In this song, the melody is catchy and Shilpa Rao’s vocals lift it but the rest of the song of pop mediocrity. The production is oversynthensized and lavish (please make sense of these partially made up words) and lacks real creativity.
