Thank you for your comment I have been waiting for this question for a while the original handlebars that was on the Vulcan they was too wide for me and I had a bad wreck with a dirt bike in 03 that left my right shoulder slightly messed up now the handlebars that's on that bike you ain't going to believe this but there are Honda Shadow 600 03 model that's the handlebars that's on the Vulcan 900 and two you have to raise the handlebars 4 inches and they is one hole did you have to drill where the throttle goes I think that's something like 1/8 in I'm not 100% sure cuz I done that long time ago God I love somebody finally asked me about the handlebars that's on that Vulcan thank you so very much ❤️🤗
Gail I've been thinking about the the custom Vulcan and it has different type handlebars on it now if you will look for it building risers for Yamaha 1600 roadstar part one and two I think the road star has handlebars more like the custom does and by raising the handlebars it brings it up higher but it also brings it back further towards you and that might be what you're looking for I've been thinking about that for the past couple of days if you will watch them videos and you might could try something along that line right there now the risers dip was made if something like 3 and 1/2 in longer but it made that 1600 ride totally different anyway I just wanted to pass that on to you 😊

I just stumbled across your CZcams channel. I’m glad that I did because I had no idea the the bike had restrictor plates. I’ll have to look more into it. BTW… I had installed the Barron pulleys on my 06 900 LT several years ago and I love them. It definitely lowers the rpm on the freeway and does not sacrifice the low end when taking off in 1st gear. It kind of makes the bike feel like it’s a 6 speed. Also much less vibration when you’re on the freeway.
I had this bike for 8 months. Bought it used spent winter cleaning doing maintenance. Put 300 km. On it in the spring then sold it as I hated it to put it mildly. Have had many bikes in my 50 yrs. of riding but never a cruiser. I just don't get the feet forward riding position. If you hit a bump it's almost impossible to stand up without pulling the hand bars off. Bought a brand new BMW R1200 RT in 2013. More like it. 171.000 km. later I love it more every time I ride it.

I did just the front belt pulley exchange, as to not spend ant more money than I had to. I think the front alone figured up to like 70 percent of the available change in both? Anyways, that ratio change made a very very noticeable difference in how that bike feels at higher speeds. I didn't ever really think about adding the rear after doing just the front. A lot of mods we do on our bikes and cars, were not really sure how much different it is, but "probably" better. lol That was one of the most noticeable differences of anything i'd ever done for a couple hundred bucks In 38 years of operating something with a suck bang blow engine at my control. . . That and I got a mustang seat for it right after i bought it. Worth every penny. I have an 09 with 48k on it, and it runs just as it should. Take care.

@@lp.670 I've had a sportster, 3 Honda magnas from the mid, late 80s one was the V65 and one was the 87 Super Magna, look it up if you don't know,, it was a cool design. A Vstar, VTX1300, CB750 four, an old 600 yamie special and a MOUNTAIN of Dirt bikes from the earth 70s to a 2013 KX250F. As far as street bikes go, this 09 Vulcan I have is my favorite. I installed the Viking saddle bags, paint matched the new Memphis Shades fairing i got. (Dark Blue). Instead crash bars and highway pegs and all led lights, except for the headlight, but i have an illegally bright led bar between the forks, for late nights coming back from the lake when there are no cars, or just pointing at things when i'm parked somewhere in the dark. I bought some single amber little like 3/8in. led's that happened to fit in the mounting holes for the windscreen on the top and sides of the fairing. The led is on a bolt thread with a nut, so it just takes the place of the mounting hardware. I have 5 in the center and 3 on each side, which i turned into turn signal lights. They are only 2 wire so they won't stay as a running light, but i still have the aftermarket ones on as well. That turned out really cool, and people thought it was something that the fairing company offered. I never really spent much extra money on any other bikes unless I had too, but I don't really want a different bike than this one (4th year now)
@@lp.670Thank you... It has turned out great and I love how it looks. I'm really happy with the bike and knew I would keep it for a long time, so I spent a little money on her. I also installed the ISO Grips with the throttle boss. They are a little pricy at like 90 to 100 bucks but VERY comfortable, and that throttle boss is pretty amazing on the highway or any length of road at the same speed. Just resting your palm on it, even with your hand open, holds the throttle in place. No need to squeeze It just allows your hand to rest while maintaining speed. If I were to ever buy one in stock form again Grips, seat and front drive pully (first thing) have completely changed how that bike feels, for the better. And I really liked it in stock from too. Just a little more comfortable all around. 100 fold more comfortable where I park my arse.

Thanks for your videos. Bought a 900 classic LT for myself and a Vulcan 650s for wife about a month ago. Both are 2023. Short story, wife took over the 900 and I'm trading the 650s in for another 900 classic LT. The 650s was a li'l squirrly for her. Not liking the way it accelerated... quickly! I liked it but I prefer the 900. I'm more into cruising nowadays than racing. Question: Did you take both baffles out? Sounds fantastic! Keep 'em videos coming!

I have a 14 900 custom. the other day (after watching your plate removal video) I was on the freeway slight uphill, throttle pegged and it never hit 100 mph. Would removing the plates give more acceleration?
I know it helped my bike to get speed faster now I have not top mine yet but at 110 it was still gaining but I let off.... I think top speed is around 110 to 115 for stock gearing thank you for your comment sir 👍
Does it seem to ride a little better at higher rpm’s like highway speeds? Cause I have an 08 custom and going about 70-80 on the interstate it just screams 😂
I'm sorry to say that you might have a rod knocking is your oil pressure light on at idle?or is it a tap at the top of the cylinder that sounds like a knock?
@@demitrycastillo8217 ok I think it is your bub that's is blone it will be a 1157 bulb very easy to change two Phelps screws to remove and you will see the bub now push in the bub and turn it to the left and remove now pay attention to the locks on the bub and put the new bub the same way you took it out I hope this will help you out with your problem let me know sir and thank you for your comment 👍

I have a valcun 900 2008 and it has a hard knocking on the front cylinder what should I do to fix it

Check the vacuum hose coming out of the top of the cylinder.if it comes off you can definitely hear the inside of the head
