hello brothers north americans i am argentinian and i love hockey
joel Joel necesitamos que Román abra la sección de hockey en boquita 😅🙌
The play by play commentator was spot on several times on predicting when and who would score. What a great game!
I think the commentary was added after because at the end he says crosby won 3 stanley cups and 2 olympic gold medals but this was 2010 and that hadn't happened yet.
The commentary was made after

You'll basically anger any Canadians if you don't use the original commentary for the game. Crosby's Golden Goal is legendary!
I returned to Vancouver for the 10th anniversary of Vancouver 2010 and I talked with the locals about that game to this day.
Before that game, I bet a lot of Canadians are saying, "Fellas, winning in Salt Lake City in 2002 was great because it broke a 50-year drought of winning Olympic gold in our bread and butter sport. But this Olympic gold medal is the one that matters the most because if we don't beat the Americans, this will be the worst loss in Canada hockey history even worse than Lillehammer 1994."
Goals:
5:45 - 1-0 CAN Jonathan Toews
14:19 - 2-0 CAN Corey Perry
16:40 - 1-2 USA Ryan Kesler
33:41 - 2-2 USA Zach Parise
44:15 - 3-2 OT CAN Sidney Crosby
Commentary wrecks this amazing game
Facts
TRUE THAT
But lmfao us Americans got it
Man 9 years ago when I age 12 watching this best matchup 🇨🇦 vs 🇺🇸 🏅and now I'm 22 years old never forget hockey 🇨🇦 won the gold. Go 🇨🇦 Go
Canada, the best hockey team to ever play😌
As a Vancouver it’s this is easily the best hockey experience anyone I’d us has ever experienced. A perfect way to win gold and get every fan glued to their tv. For those few overtime minutes all of Canada was united in support for our team and glued to their TVs
This hockey game was probably the last time that all of Canada was so united as one nation from coast to coast. Ever since then its been going down hill ever since and Canadians have become ever more divided.
holy flashback!!!!! this was 9 years ago!!!!
I love how you see the crowd sitting down together in sync at 18:20 LOL
now THAT's Hockey! The skill on this ice was astonishing.
Commentary kinda killed the atmosphere. Buddy wasn't really into it
The commentary doesn't do any justice to this history making game. There are other videos which capture just how emotional and unifying this game was for us Canadians. Even over 10 years later, there hasn't been anything that has come close to replicating the energy and exhilaration of that day.
'here comes crosby what can he do?"
*scores the golden goal 5 seconds later*
it’s a commentary done years later hence he talks about Crosby winning 3 Stanley cups and 2 Olympic gold medals. It even says in the title is a look back at the event.

Listen to Blackwater Crude Canadian Gold Medal Hockey Song. It is a condensed 4 minute version of the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics hockey tournament.
Man, I remember the USA team looked utterly crushed but I didn't think it was this bad. I was watching on one of those mini-tv's you put in the corner of your room back then so the quality of it wasn't that great.
Best team ever Go Canada
It was over before it started
I remember my high school shut down and we all watched this in the gym, staying late to watch, we ERUPTED with joy when the golden goal went in! still get the chills
I thought game was on a Sunday
@@ginonaccarato8500 It was.
You can do it canda
🇺🇸 It's over before it started 🇨🇦
Most uninspired announcer of all time.
28:41 helluve backcheck by Kaner there.
Commentary is brutal
USA 2 line Defence Rafalski too much ice time I’m glad Canada won
Seems kinda weird that both goalies are Canucks
UK guy here. I got drunk in the afternoon watching this. The trouble from my missus was worth it. Go Canada
Why is there a mock commentary?
🇨🇦💥🙏💥🇨🇦
This must be retroactively commentated. Doc Emerson did the American call and I don't recognize this person from Canadian TV, or radio. He says "golden goal" in advance of the OT goal, which is suspicious given that Chris Cuthbert coined that expression after Crosby scored the winner - seems weird that he is hinting at Crosby scoring before he scores using the famous (famous in Canada) slogan for the OT winner.
They do say it's a throwback in the first 5 seconds.
Please full hockey matches from Nagano 1998. Thank you
this is basically a NHL all-star game
naw was way more rough.
Hey IOC, let’s not re commentate a game that was played 9 years ago....
33:50
👍👍👍👍👍
Still upset about this
lol hockey is a canadian thing. Zach parise is the son of a french canadien legend JP Parise
Canada made it and they can end it
By far the worst play by play commentary I have heard in my life. Gold medal Olympic game and the guy is monotone
Commentary...
Canada misses Stephan Harper
KTO Z WF?
federation :D
Who else lives in Ohio?? (Other than me) 🤑
This commentary is an absolute embarrassment
I don’t get why they did not use Chris Cuthbert or Mike Emrick
That announcer is horrible.
First
This is the most biased commentary i have ever heard 🤣
This gotta be the WORST commentator I’ve ever heard
