This is an outstanding video - thanks millions! Apart from the great places and scenes i really appreciate the fact that amidst all of this Ryan is changing the oil filter. Priceless! The cleanliness of the engine is a credit to you guys. As is the ship shape nature of your boat. I watch some other channels and i cringe at the lines and buckets and debris all over some peoples boat decks. And what’s more you guys have become excellent sailors! Congratulations on a job very well done!

Really like that village! That's the type of place I live for. Really don't like tourist traps. My wife and I would rather be anchored off an uninhabited island to our selves or a village like that. Quirky is character and I really like character. The more you get to the little non tourist villages the more I think you will like the Caribbean. What I always liked about traveling is finding the local spot and drinking and eating what they do. Sometimes it's not liked but that rarely happens...Usually I end up like it alot. Adds to the trip to not just be there experience it...Instead of going to the night club go to the local dive bar...That's where the real memories are made. Really enjoy watching you experience it for the first time. Keep living the dream!

It's really obvious - viewing this way - just how much you've learnt and how experienced you are now. I'm gonna enjoy these from the comfort of my sofa... (and my wife just commented how windy it can get even here. Huh - so Rude!)

Good stuff. The boat looks dialed in, and the vibe is decidely different from the none to knarly wind scenarios and boat projects of the Med. You guys earned these good times and you wear them well! Question, a tad nosey, if to nosey just say so. I'm in the process of buying a genoa and staysail. My first time purchasing sails. And, when all is said and done (upgrading to Marblehead cloth or similar, adding this and that, because I don't want to not get some feature that improves shape, longevity, offshore strength, ease of trim, etc...) I am at just under $5k. Which, if I were to go with more standard sails would be more like $4k. My boat is also a 37' that I plan on crossing oceans with over the next 5 years. Finally, the question... and I suppose it only applies if my memory serves me correctly and you've recently outfitted Skua with new sails. What type of cloth are your head sails, are you happy with them, would you buy them again, happy with the size, and (the nosey part) approximately what did you pay for each of the headsails? It's really quite difficult to know if one is over buying, and /or over paying. I respect your opinions so I'm asking you vs the folks that I know and that don't have the experience you two do. Grazi.

It is really hard to avoid bumps and bruises when on a boat but some injuries are easy to avoid and a good manicure now and again will prevent such as those on Ryans back 7:06.🤭 Bet those sting in salt water. 😬
