can someone tell him you can just press A in this game and have an intuitive attack come out? i get he's used to traditional fighting games but like he's using the same 4 moves with every character like he doesn't know how to input anything else. hold a towards your opponent and you will throw out an attack at them. I don't think I saw him use dash attack as simon once even though its a great way to respond to connecting with holy water/fire. I would also expect a traditional fighting game player to be not-horrible at spacing, like that's the one thing I expect you to be able to do decent in a game you played a decent amount of hours in. But nah, no fairs, bairs, nairs, fundies, dash attacks, grabs... just miss spaced F tilts and projectiles because he's terrified of having to actually interact and he plays this platform fighter on the map with no platforms because it makes his projectile camping easier.
