Hello Rachel, I have not been in your channel for all of last year 2021. In fact, I didn't do any rock painting. I happened to glance at one of your rocks today, and decided to stop by. Glad to see you're still actively painting all these glorious rocks. They were my inspiration at one time. Now, I think I want to paint again, so I'll probably be watching more of your videos. Glad to hear you and your family are fine.
I don't know how well this method would work on rocks but I have used my varnish with mica powders to paint on tiny details on some of my polymer clay creations.

You are left-handed, right? I have three good friends, very artistic, and they are left-handed. Must be something about that that has translates into such talent.
A must do. I love dotting. And the watercolor backgrounds are beautiful. I must try those again. I didn’t have any luck doing the watercolor hearts. So I’m hoping to do better with the backgrounds.
I don't like the mushrooms but I love the colors.

It looks like what we call June Bug. When I was a child in June in Georgia we use to catch them, tie a string on 1 of their back legs and hold the long string and they would fly around and around. Almost like a Kite. Then we would take the string off and let them go. They don't bite. Buy in Georgia in June they are still popular with the kids. We didn't have Ps3 or Ps4 or X- Box. We did things like that and it was the best. Memories like that you remember as a child and pass it on to other children as we get older. Just wanted to share a childhood memory.

Where do you get your paints? Some are very special.
